   I didn’t know about this site until It was mentioned to me by a local. I can’t believe it is not more famous as it is really a Gem if you are interested in Roman ruins and architecture. The site offers the remains of a well preserved amphitheater but also the ruins of a great Roman bath, a capitol, a forum and presumably some villas. I highly recommend it Also you can see the remains of one of the biggest aqueducts in the Roman world. It deserve to be a unesco site See more..

   First thing it was a pain to get in. At the one entrance the staff wouldn’t let us in but kept changing his reason why, though it typically involved a police escort. We eventually got in at the other entrance but the eco museum was boarded up and if you walked up the trail which was a gravel road you walked to signs for a military installation that were before the trail connections. Apparently it was good to turn around at the signs because multiple people said walking further would have gotten us shot on site by military personnel. The one positive was that the guard at the one gate showed us a bunch of wild boars and was very friendly. See more..
