Arranged the diving trip on short notice, picked us up; the equipment seemed brand new and the dive guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Two great dives at Tanikely. This is one of the best companies to go with if you want to visit Nosy Iranja. My friend and I went for an overnight trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The journey to the island itself was entertaining as we were taken by a speed boat and stopped on the way to see the whales and dolphins. We then were allowed to snorkel in an area close to the island where there was interesting sea life. Snorkelling equipment was provided. The island itself is stunning and the accomodation suited it. We stayed in the beach front tents. The bed was a mattress on the floor and a mosquito net was in place. The tents were basic but this was expected and it met all our needs. We were fed lunch once we arrived at the island which compromised of coco rice, pasta salad and fish. Food-wise there were plenty of options to choose from for all our meals and the portions were generous. We finished the meal with fresh pineapple slices and water bottles were also handed to us so we could stay hydrated by the sea. We had free time for the rest of the day, then went on a tour around the island guided by Frank who was very knowledgeable. We finished the day watching the sunset whilst sipping mojitos which was a lovely touch. The second day was similar to the first and we left the island after lunch which allowed us a sufficient amount of time to enjoy it. All in all this trip was amazing value for money and very well conducted. Frank our guide was hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable. Bearing in mind that transport; snorkelling equipment; four meals; tour of the island and overnight accomodation were all included, I believe this is a modestly priced trip and worth the money which was €120 per person at the time that we went. My first point of contact was North Mada Kite. I never looked anywhere afterwards because of being so well taken care of. Every morning was picked up at my hotel in Diego and in less than an hour we were on the beach at the kite spot. Nice company through out. Good seafood lunch daily on the beach. We spent six weeks in Madagascar and this was definitely one of the highlights. Jerome and his crew (especially Kristoff and Nordi) are all amazing instructors - we had a great time with the team and had one-on-one instruction the entire time. Jerome's equipment is all in good shape or brand new (just bring a bathing suit, some sunglasses and suntan lotion), the beach is beautiful and Bea (also beautiful) makes incredible food for lunch everyday for under 10 euros. I cannot recommend Kite Alize highly enough and wish we could have stayed longer. See more..

I was diving with Tropical Diving for the past 8 days, apart from one day, always with Jean-Michel, he is absolutely great and I felt really safe diving with him, he always spots something cool and has and eye on the fellow divers. The diving equipment is handled with care which is very important if you are brining your own equipment, as I did. The boats are in great condition and clean. (Not a standard, having seen the other boats here) Jean-Michel is a great dive leader, gives a thorough dive briefing, in multiple languages, before every dive so you always know what's going on. But I just really wanted to emphasise that you can absolutely be sure that in the case of an emergency you are in very very good hands diving with Tropical Diving. I had a blast and Jean-Michel even made it possible for me to snorkel with a whale shark. See more..

They have been very nice and friendly since the very beginning when we were planning our trip, answering every question, suggesting excursions and helping us out. I am a total novice rider (I use the word rider very loosely!) and my wife is a competition rider - so extremes of knowledge! We booked an hour and a half at the ranch and we both thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. The staff were great and spoke good English. The trek itself was stunning taking in countryside, lakes and also beach / sea. Lots to see and learn whilst enjoying the view from the saddle. The horses were well looked after and well bedded down showing the care given by the owners in an environment that it is much more difficult to provide the services we take for granted in the UK. All I can say is wow! Whale sharks hadn’t been seen for 8 days before, probably because of the cyclone that preceded our visit. But when we went out with Safari Baleine, we found them at least 5 times - and it was spectacular. The outing included snorkeling with the whale sharks, an island lunch (superb barbecued fish & octopus with coconut rice) and more snorkeling with turtles. Accommodation is beachside bungalows with an on site swimming pool and first class chef who provides three course lunches and dinner. Very picturesque and easy conditions to learn to kitesurf ( as there is so much space and so few people) and various other options e.g. Island day trips if you don't wish to kitesurf. We booked this half-day tour since our cruise ship was stopping at Nosy Be, Madagascar. We wanted to steer clear of the crowds, and see wildlife in a natural setting. Lokobe was a great choice, and Mada ABC tours an even better one! Our guide Stan wrangled our group of 5 onto a speedboat for the 30 minute trip to Lokobe. No docks or piers, so we waded through the water to reach the shore, and hiked to our starting point. Lokobe is about as pristine as it gets, and the hike through the forest areas can be demanding. But the payoff was the opportunity to see endemic species of plants and animals: chameleons, lemurs, reptiles and more! An additional guide joined us to find and identify these.
