   The Tsingy of Namoroka is one of the most incredible destination even if it is not well known. The access is still difficult but it worths a visit. This site is accessible from Mahajanga. The last hotel is in Soalala, only small hotel. It is recommended to dedicated three days inside the park : day 01 : visit of big tsing day 02 : visit of small tsingy and caves day 03 : visit of the natural swimming pool. By the way, this is one of the best natural swimming pools in Madagascar with blue water Up to now, there is no specific trail inside the park and you need good guide from the national park office in Soalala. I recommend Moril as he know the labyrinth of the cave perfectly This is only for adventurer looking for exceptional place : no hotel (night in camping), take porters from and cook from Soalala See more..

   I contacted 'Daddy' (nickname) directly at [email protected]. He was extremely helpful and speaks very good English. With just a few days notice, he picked our party of four up from Antsiribe early so we could stop and walk around Lake Tritriva, then on to Miandrivazo for the night. We had requested three nights camping instead of two so we could take our time floating down the river in the pirogues. Daddy and his three 'crew' paddled the two dugouts while we relaxed and enjoyed the constantly changing scenery. Each night they set up camp beside the river, tents with mattress which were very comfortable. And the food was plentiful and delicious including very fresh chicken. The extra night on the river meant we had time to climb up to a remote cave which has two types of bats. It was amazing. Later we showered under a waterfall and swam in the river. We finally pulled in to shore and a zebu cart transferred our luggage to a 4x4 in the next village. After a very bumpy drive we stopped at Avenue of the Baobabs to watch the sunset which was stunning. Later we arrived at our hotel in Morandava, the end of an amazing and very memorable 5 day tour.    Accessible by a track which crosses savannah and cashew plantations (cashew nuts), the Anjohibe site brings together extremely varied tourist attractions and which deserve to stay there at least one night (camps on site). The caves represent a network of interconnecting rooms over several kilometers: numerous limestone concretions forming imposing stalactites and stalagmites which can exceed 10m in height. The most important speleological site in Madagascar. Lake Andranojoby is a real natural swimming pool. Downstream, falls offer a drop of 20m.    nous avons passés 3 nuits en famille. avec 3 enfants 5 10 et 13 ans.
   l'accès directe à la rivière, l'eau très agréable les cascades et piscines naturelles et la super cuisine auraient suffit à nous rendre heureux. ajoutés à cela des activités sur site. .. piste de voitures télécommandes, stand de tir, billard, trampoline, mini golf style cross, basketball, + randonnée proche dans de superbes grottes, et autre. .. plus d'offres que nos 3 jours on pus engloutir...

   Si vous avez traversé la baie de Betsiboka pour aller de Mahajanga à Katsepy (belles plages). Il faut pousser jusqu'au phare (construction atelier Eiffel). 174 marches à gravir. Un palier à environ 1/3 avant le sommet donne une belle vue sur la zone environnante. Vue panoramique sur la baie et la presqu’ile. Avec les palmiers "satrana" très abondant et utilisés en vannerie (nattes, paniers, ....). Petite forêt avec trois espèces de lémuriens diurnes : sifaka couronnés, les lemurs mongoz et les lemurs fulvus. Plusieurs pieds de baobabs dans cette petite forêt transformée. See more..

Eight species of lemurs have been observed in Ankarafantsika including the famous Microcebus, the smallest primates in the world. 129 species of birds nest in the forest of Ankarafantsika, a paradise for bird watchers. 75 of them are endemic, including the Madagascar Bald Eagle, the only species of diurnal raptor classified as critical (CR) in Africa by the IUCN in 2008.
