First visit to Sakalava
My first point of contact was North Mada Kite. I never looked anywhere afterwards because of being so well taken care of. Every morning was picked up at my hotel in Diego and in less than an hour we were on the beach at the kite spot. Nice company through out. Good seafood lunch daily on the beach. Then back to the hotel in the evenings. I had a wonderful time. MIKE

Paradise!
Absolutely amazing kitesurf school in Sakalava bay. I could already kitesurf a bit but took lessons and rented gear with them for a week and it was absolutely perfect! It is run by an great team of people and Bakhta and Eugene are the best! I came to Diego Suarez on my own and left with great friends! Every morning I was picked up from my hotel in the back of the pick-up truck and we drove towards the bay picking up more people along the way. We had lunch at the different gargottes (little restarants with delicious food) in the afternoon. Bakhta speaks good English and I had a lot of fun improving my French with the rest. INCREDIBLE PLACE!

Perfect to get into kiting
The Sakalava Bay is perfect to learn how to kitesurf and beyond, as it not only super beautiful but has perfect conditions. The bay is not very deep, therefore beginners can always walk. The wind direction is safe and for advanced riders there are a few fun waves just outside the lagoon. North Mada Kite is definitely the best kite school in Sakalava, as it has heaps of different, perfectly new material to choose from and the whole team is super nice, knowledgable and helpful, mostly in french but if needs be also in english. This includes not only the instructors but also the guy in charge of the material, the driver and the owner. A further advantage is the daily pick-up from diego suarez and return free of charge. To finish the day in style there were always good vibes until well beyond sunset as we all had drinks together.
