This place is really cool. It takes a little bit to get up the road to the ranch (bumpy road...worth it!). Once we arrived at the ranch Monica met us and set up a short horseback ride for me my wife and my two children (7 and 9). While we waited for the horses the kids played on all of the fun activities they have at Cerro Alto. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer but they also offer a longer horseback ride, camping, tractor rides, zip line, rappelling and hiking on gorgeous trails with tons of birds and a farm animal experience (including milking a cow). We will be back and we are planning on spending the night. All of the staff were awesome and the area is amazing. They have a bunch of rooms to stay alone or with a big group and will cook up whatever delicacy (including pizza!! in a outdoor fire pizza oven). Just call in advance and they’ll set everything up. Highly recommended, worth the longish trip over unimproved roads...I promise!! See more..

This park is amazing, it combines nature, adventure, and fun... Plus you get a lot of things that make your visit more comfortable. You can camp or stay in a nice and equipped cabin. Price rates are accessible. There are also bathrooms and grills to cook. Not to mention there is also a place to buy food and snacks. The hot chocolate is really good. There are plenty of activities... there is canopy, rappel, long and short walks through the mountains, horse rides, swings... you can even find a football court and volleyball net. I would recommend this place for families or couples who want to spend a nice weekend in the woods but with access to basic services. it is really close to the city and the road is in good conditions - my boyfriend and I used waze to get there and we had not trouble. Visit Pino Dulce, you won't regret it! See more..
