   Our walking tour with Andre was everything we had hoped for. He told us he was following the example of his grandfather, who had been a tour guide in Nuremberg before him. It was obvious that he was a local and that he loved the history of his city and loved sharing it with visitors.    My family continues to rave about how much they loved this tour! My dad says it was his favorite part of our trip to Germany. We did a driving tour outside of Nuremberg to a small Christmas Market, lunch at a local restaurant, and then a driving tour with commentary of some of the major WWII sites. Kevin has such an extensive knowledge of Nuremberg and WWII that all of the adults in our party have been inspired to go back and do some additional reading and studying of Nuremberg during WWII.     This was a very thorough cellar beer tour with lots of history and epic beer and whiskey/brandy. The tour was in German but your tickets to the tour will cover the cost of an audiotape that was very easy to Kee up with the tour guide.     This opera house is stunningly beautiful and definitely worth the visit. It was an €8 admission fee for an adult which included a short film and a talk about the museum. The talk was only in German, and they informed me of this prior to me purchasing my ticket. It lasted about 20 minutes and I had no issue with sitting through it even though I didn’t understand. They did have a pamphlet about the opera house available in several different languages that was very informative, and I would definitely recommend going even if you are not a German speaker.
