   We went to Cairo in November of 2008. Saw the reviews for this place on Tripadvisor. My wife happens to absolutely love crystal, so we decided to go check it out. Its a bit of a cab ride to get there (cost us ~30 LE to get there from downtown Cairo), but its well worth it. The showroom is absolutely fantastic, my wife's eyes lit up when we stepped into the place. We must have spent at least 2 and a half hours in there. We bought a ton of jewelry for all the girls in our family, and we actually took a bit of a gamble and bought a crystal chandelier (there are more chandeliers here than i've ever seen in my life). It took them a week to pack it so it could be checked in to go on our plane back (we had to get them to drive it to our hotel), and getting our tax refund was a HUGE hassle (isn't everything in Cairo, though). Anyhow, we now have a nice beautiful chandelier... now we just need a house to put it in. See more..
