The wonderful trip started with a timely hotel pickup. Our tour guide, Olfat, greeted us with a warm welcome upon arrival. We had a very comfortable trip from Cairo to Alexandria, by an outstanding driver named, Ferris. Olfat would gladly answer any questions we had about sights that we observed on the way to Alexandria. In Alexandria, we attended ancient historical sites, such as the Roman Theatre and Citadel. Olfat was an outstanding tour guide and explained in detail the significance of each site. We had a very good lunch at the Fish Market, which had a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. Our tour included a visit to the largest library in the world, which contained fascinating technology at the touch of your finger. I would highly recommend taking this tour and request the services of Olfat (tour guide) and Ferris (driver), if possible. See more..

What an amazing place and what an amazing organiser. Loly arranged to collect us from Luxor at the end of a 'standard' Egypt tour, provided us with a 700km transfer to Bahariya, 2 nights in a wonderful little hotel and 3 days/2nights in the most weird place we have ever visited. We are Sahara addicts but the Black and White Deserts are totally different. At the end of the trip Loly transferred us back to Cairo to catch the flights home. The 2 desert crew were excellent, putting up the tents, cooking and making sure that we saw everything that there was to see. Loly even provided us with folding seats as we aren't quite as young as we used to be. We were a little concerned booking a 6 day trip with a total stranger thousands of miles from home. However, Loly works on trust, wouldn't take a deposit and did everything that he promised. Loly, you're a great guy. See more..

My wife, mother-in-law, and I had an incredible 4 day, 3 night tour with Western Desert Tours. Khaled is very experienced and has excellent English. I strongly advise you to book and simply leave the itinerary up to him, as he can show all of the top sites. He is also a phenomenal cook, every meal is a complete spread of delicious and fresh, nutritional food. He even provided us with lunch just minutes before we left. Khaled, and our driver, Mohammed, looked after all of our needs and always went the extra mile. Khaled even helped arrange our bus ride back to Cairo after the tour without requesting any additional payment outside of the bus ticket price. I would like to thank Ahmed for this memorable trip. He is such a humble and friendly host. My wife is a fussy eater, but we both absolutely loved the food, and Ahmed is a very good cook. His land cruiser is great and the coolest one in the white desert. The way they set up the tents and all they done shows they are experts in what they do. This tour was nothing short of spectacular! We did the private overnight trip 2D 1 Night and it was amazing. The price includes the pickup from Cairo and few stops until you get to the white desert. Some places you may stop at: The black desert. Crystal Mountain. Make sure to go into the cave and right on top on this stop. Some hot spring oasis. Agabaat. This place has amazing views. If you thinking about booking this trip definitely book it, and book it with Ahmed he is the cheapest and the quality is great. I took the 4 days/5 nights trip from Cairo to Luxor, with one day camping in the White Desert. The overall experience was very good, and I truly had a wonderful adventure in the western oasis of Egypt. The whole experience was magical and you get to see Egypt through an unfiltered, authentic lens. Amir and his team understand their clientele well. All the drivers and guides spoke good English, and I was able to communicate with them. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe with all the men who accompanied me at various points of the journey. I had to change drivers and guides in between, and Amir constantly kept in touch with me to make sure everything was going ok. While the package is not exactly cheap, it is worth it because the whole process works fairly seamlessly, and you are paying for the convenience of everything being taken care of. The Bedouin camp in Dhakla was absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to unwind! Mahmoud was my Bedouin guide for the one night I camped in the White Desert and he was awesome! He knows the desert well and was an awesome driver, guide, cook and musician-all rolled into one!! It is definitely an adventure of a lifetime. See more..

I always say the universe connects people in unexpected ways.. I contacted Oasis Egypt Safari and Mohamed (Moha for us ) back in November 2019 to organize a trip to the Egyptian desert around April 2020. Unfortunately the pandemic and lockdowns made this impossible and we thought it will never be. But all storms passed, so near 4 months ago I contacted Moha again to make the so desired trip a reality, and we made it. His company and himself had everything perfectly planned and organized since the moment of the hotel pickup. We met the company crew and Moha in person near a village where we received a warm welcome and had an excellent lunch. We then started the magical journey to the heart of the desert. Believe me when I say photos and videos do not make justice. Landscapes and places are unique, breathtaking and so different from one each other that you need a super powered brain to process such beauty in such short time. Also Moha was choosing the perfect music when driving to the different places creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy and relax. We camped 2 nights in the middle of the desert in two different places and I can’t choose one over the other. Second night there were 2 other groups at the place, and after dinner, we ended up all together around the fire dancing at the rhythm of the drums and "flautas" drinking mint tea. We ended up the journey the third day at midday climbing to the top of a mountain near some farmer village to appreciate an outstanding view. So for those planning to visit Egypt this trip is a must, and if you want everything perfectly planned and organized, you need to contact Oasis Egypt Safari and Mohamed. This day tour of Cairo was a last minute arrangement with my guide Nesma on the previous day’s pyramids tour. She tailored a package for me which included the Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, the citadel, sunset Nile cruise and the pyramids light show and we agreed to a price. I was picked up at 10am and dropped back at my hotel around 20:30 so this was a full day packed with Egyptian history! I should also give special mention to Nesma and by driver Mohammed for all the extras they did for me which weren’t part of the tour. For example taking the time to take me to Vodafone to sort out my SIM card, helping me with unique and authentic souvenirs for my family, and also booking other pickups and tours for later in my holiday. Nesma in particular is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Egypt (both ancient and modern) and is a very enthusiastic guide through the loooooooong history of this very interesting country. We arranged an overnight camping tour to the black-and-white desert through Emo Tours with Duba as our guide. We spent a night camping in the white desert and it was an amazing experience. Our Bedouin guide set up our tents and fixed meals for us and showed us amazing sites. We saw shooting stars and beautiful natural rock formations and even went sand boarding. If you’re going to do that realize that the climb back up is tough! Duba was wonderful, making sure that we had every thing we needed and answering any questions we had. His English is great. He has a good sense of humor and is fun too! We saw the water project, a volcano caldera, and Crystal mountain. It was amazing how many stars you could see with no ambient light around. It gets cold in the desert at night but we had sleeping bags and plenty of blankets. It’s a long drive but very unique and beautiful scenery in the deserts. See more..

The sights were amazing, the food was delicious, and the kindness and friendships made priceless. He arranged everything including round-trip transfer from Cairo in a comfortable car with a professional driver. We had an incredible 2-day White Desert tour with Hamada, the true local who has been doing the desert safari tour for 20 years. He tells great stories in perfect English. Over the 2 days, we saw a few sites in unforgettable Black desert, Crystal mountain and White desert, watched sunset and sunrise, slept under the stars including most epic Milky Way, ate the freshly prepared food. The trip was one of my favourite parts of my stay in Egypt. Everything was provided and Abdo made the experience really enjoyable and was really nice and funny. We had lunch when arriving in Bawiti and then departed to the desert. We went to the black desert, the crystal mountain, Agabat and did some sand-boarding there and had tea. The views were amazing, especially in Agabat. Going off-road and fast in the desert was really fun. Then we headed to the White Desert, where we camped. A very copious dinner was served at night and then we had tea by the camp fire and Abdo sang some songs. The night sky was truly breathtaking. I really recommend to spare some days in your plan for his trip to anyone that is coming to Egypt ! See more..

I don’t know how it is possible for these tour company to handpick the nicest tour guides in all of Egypt! We unknowingly picked the company for all our tours, including our airport transfer, a nile river cruise, and a full day tour of the pyramids which included lunch and shopping. Our tour guides on different days, Mohammad Alaa for day one for pickup and cruise and Osama for day two for the pyramid tour, were the best guides ever! We ended each day bffs, I’ve never laughed so much with guides turned friends or learned so much about Egyptian history or current politics. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for all tours and ask specifically for these two guides. I can’t speak more highly of them!! Even the drivers were great! Myself and my husband booked the 1 night 2 day tour. Our tour guide Alaa was the best!! From pick up from our hotel in Cairo, sand boarding, watching the sunset, star gazing to sunrise & getting dropped off back at our hotel, everything was perfection. On top of that Alaa is a great cook and very friendly. The white desert itself is beautiful and feels like another planet. We went on a 2-day 1-night White Desert Tour in December 2021 with Islam from White Desert Tour. It was an amazing experience that me and my girlfriend will never forget. The entire trip went extremely smoothly and we have felt 100% safe during the entire tour. In the morning, you are picked up from the hotel after which you drive to the starting point of the tour in 3-4 hours. There Islam makes you a nice lunch, after which you jump in a 4X4 to drive to the white desert, making amazing stops on the way. We have climbed hills in the black desert, seen beautiful valleys in the white desert and even sandboarded! Around sunset you will reach the camp, where Islam and his crew prepare a delicious meal. After the meal, you sit around the campfire under a beautiful starry sky and listen to local music Islam and his crew play. We slept in a very comfortable tent in very warm blankets and were not cold at all – despite it being a cold night. The next day you will visit other sights, after which you eat lunch at the starting point and will return to Cairo – again convenient hotel drop off. My friend and I went on a desert trip with Esam a few days ago. We visited Wadi Rayan with its waterfalls, went to some jaw-dropping spots (top of a mountain, a cave, etc), drove through the dunes and had sunset tea by the Magic lake. It was one of the best desert experiences my friend and I have ever had, thanks to Esam’s calm manner, kind heart, warm personality, deep knowledge of the desert and 24 years of experience!! He was an excellent guide and an amazing driver. He shared a lot of interesting info with us and treated us like part of his family. He made sure we were comfortable at all times and went beyond and above to fulfil our requests. He was super flexible and changed the programme to our liking :) I can’t recommend him highly enough! we had an absolutely incredible trip with Desert Treasures Tours. The guide Mahmoud was outstanding and well informed about the area. The drive in and out was long but totally worth it. Driving through black desert was surreal, we did some sandboarding as well. the highlight remains the white desert trip and camping under the stars. the team looked after us really well. This is a real treasure and we highly recommend this trip. The landscape looked like covered with ice, the gorgeous sunrise & sunset lighting adding a brilliant pink-orange hue. Great meals all along. While there a few other groups camping there as well, we were far enough away to feel we had the entire desert to ourselves. Standing in front of Cheops for the first time, or entering a pyramid, or have a guide tell you about the history, development, layout of the pyramids is fantastic. If you are moderately interested, I'd recommend a couple of days with a good guide so that you get more of a feel for the history and development of the pyramids. I'd probably give the inside a miss and head over to the Red Pyramid which makes you feel more like an explorer. See more..
