   It was a cool day to visit this lovely Gate and its surrounding. Walking around the place was good exercise for every one after a long private coach ride. You can even get a ride on a horse!!The sun was just ride as we enjoyed watching locals and tourists enjoying themselves taking photographs in front of the gate while others started to climb the hill from behind the wall. The souvenir shop is rather small. I would have loved to see more items to buy and bring home for friends and relatives. The guy in charge was extremely friendly, though non English speaking. The icecream sticks were delicious!! I would like to come back and visit in the near future. See more..

Apart of visit top of mountain (altitude 2160 m), eat and drink Thaiwoo is a bit lack og summer activities. Mainly at summer time place is good for just relax and enjoy view.     This is a city under great modernisation and it shows. Buildings going up everywhere but going up quick and some are spectacular. The city will host the Ski-ing and Sledging/Snow sports if Beijing is awarded the 2022 Winter Olympics. The people are great, restaurants varied from standard Chines food to Mongolian fare.     有点像北京的大红门和动物园了，好多都是批发的，路上很常见拿着大包小包的进货的人，附近的一些卖衣服的店主都喜欢来这里进货，然后把货通过小车子运走，很繁忙的一条街。很多店的店面都不大，摆了很多衣服堆在那里感觉乱糟糟的，没有多少的空闲地方。 See more..

    由于是1冬天，所以去的人不是很多，地方不大，游玩的地方也不是很多，可以去看一下。整个就是一个城墙，简单来说是个驿站，从古代的时候留下来的，还有好多古画，都保存的较完整，可以看出古代的风情，里面还有导游，随时可以讲解，很方便。
