Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Mountains
See more..

-A Comfortable, Beautiful Forest Park
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Religious Sites
I took a local bus to the park. It is a steady, comfortable climb on tree-lined walkways with streams sometimes crossing the pathway. We ate lunch at a family-run restaurant mid-way up the mountain. The pathway to the top was impassable because the stream had washed it out, but by that time we had seen the temple, had lunch, and enjoyed the scenery. See more..

Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Historic Walking Areas
See more..
- 3.5 Zhu Yuanzhang's Ancestral Cemetery of Ming Dynasty (6 reviews)
-Worth Visiting if You are in Xuyi
Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Cemeteries
This Ming tomb is remarkable because for about 300 years it was under water. When the Yellow River changed course in 1680, it merged with the Huai River and formed a lake, flooding the tomb site and the nearby village. When the lake level fell in the mid-1960s, the statues became visible and later associated buildings surfaced. Obviously, the site suffered from being buried for so long, but what remains is a site that is off the beaten track and not often visited even by Chinese. It is smaller than other tomb complexes and the Spirit Way is the primary attraction. There are some vendors who eek out a living from those who do visit, but it is not crowded or very commercial at all. On the week day in mid-July when I visited, there were probably eight other people there besides maybe 20 employees and vendors. See more..

Ancient Ruins
See more..
