   We took a train from Rome to Pisa, when we arrived at the station we went to the kiosk to buy another train ticket to see the Leaning Tower. The Tower is not that big and if you have time you can go up to the top (extra cost). It's worth a trip. See more..

   It is a little out of the way, and there is no public transport to get there, but worth the trip. It is basically a bridge section with a restored section heading from the river up the mountain. The wall was easy to walk and the view fantastic. There is also an elaborate Tunnel system built during the Ming Dynasty that is worth the walk. I strongly reccommend having someone with you who is fluent in Mandarin. We negotiated with a local man who hired out his 3 wheeled car and droves us the 40 minute trip from the Shanhaiguan Pass section of the Great wall and then waited 3 hours for us whilst we looked about.    It was worth the journey and especially as it was a good sunny day with some warmth to it. The wall is truly magnificent and the views from it are not exactly stunning at this time of the year but you get the scale of the enterprise. The wall extends in each direction with one section to the left of the dam in good repair up to the mountainside. At the other side of the dam the wall is under repair or at least looks that way but the whole is quite impressive. It's only a relatively small section but even this is worthy of a visit.    印象最深刻的是住得姐妹花农家院，说是姐妹花，其实是母女俩~~~
   
   院子和房间都狠干净，农家饭也很好吃，还能帮忙联系车接送~~~

    夏天我们来到葫芦岛碣石游玩，面对一望无际的大海，心情无比开阔。这里的海滩比较清静，没有北戴河的喧嚣。我们白天在大海里游泳、戏水、踏浪、在沙滩上晒太阳、堆沙堆；夜晚在海滩上打着手电捉螃蟹、吃烧烤；清晨我们早早起来，终于看到了日出。我们住的是海边的小木屋，很干净也很清静，夜晚就能听到海涛哗哗的声音。站在大海边上，能看到海中高耸的碣石，更加体会到“东临碣石有遗篇，萧瑟秋风今又是，换了人间”。 See more..

    妙峰寺双塔位于妙峰山,双塔在妙峰山的山顶，山下那座寺庙就叫妙峰寺，山上风景很不错，都是自然风貌，两座塔距离很近，虽然大小很明显，但看着雕刻，结构都好像是相同，佛像雕刻立体感非常强，不过小塔佛像雕刻都有两个洞，不知有啥用，大塔佛龛上雕刻是菩萨和法轮，很精致 See more..
