   I were here at 7 July but most of place turned to be gray and muddy. However, at least, there were still few red weeds. There is bus from park to train station, only 20 yuan at 2 pm. and 4 pm. The bus parks in front of the ticket selling hall. See more..

   Visited last year in October while working in Panjin. The small city in Liaoning province China had a lot to offer. Although I didn't meet a lot of foreigners there because it's a small city, I still managed to find different attraction sites there. This Beacon Tower is one of them. Panjin is well-known for its OIL FIELDS INDUSTRY. Therefore, this Beacon Tower was considered a hallmark of the Oil Fields of Liao River! That area has lots of shacks of restaurants too.    One of those small scale attractions that funding has left behind. Good for a driving tour stop with a lotus pond, bridges, some pleasant (but broken paved) shaded paths, and a boat dock for sightseeing boats on the river. Second and third floors have more underwear, more boutique-style clothing, some dressmakers, and dance wear.     Development of tourism this side of the Estuary is scant. Roads are pretty rough and not well marked. The map markers for the National Nature Reserve may refer to possible gated areas. The area furtherest south is a breakwater amid the marshes but the number of trucks using the narrow dirt road make it impossible to park or walk or bike, and the amount of trash at the marsh edge takes some of the pleasure out of watching for sea birds.
