   This fully operational temple is situated right in the downtown area of the city. There is no entry fee but it does close at 3.30pm and beware of the beggars that operate outside the gate as not all are what they seem. The temple is not very old but does allow you to get away from the frenetic shopping area, it is however not large enough to lose the noise of the traffic!    I went there during the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday and I walked out when I saw the crowd. Every hotels' guests go there except if the hotels offer hot spring (hot pools nothing natural at all) so I let you guess about water quality... Will not go back.    小马过河试过了才能知道水的深浅！我今年去的，感觉很不错。磨盘山很奇特，宛如一朵盛开莲花。外面远处是不会看见的，只有走到山脚的一定距离，才会豁然开朗。现在已经全天开放了，不收门票了！再说还有万德寺，里面有很多高僧大德的，可以拜访下！！！

    Walking an entire circuit of the old Guonei City walls takes just over one hours. I passed no other foreigners/westerners, but a few groups of Koreans who were curious to see me. The walls are heavily restored in parts. The best restored part of the walls and most scenic is the corner near the Yalu river then walking north towards Wandu Mountain Fort. The wall passes through interesting urban areas. I was grabbed for photos a few times, asked for photos and conversations attempted. Jia'an is one of my favourite towns in China, definitely one of the most scenic and with so much to see in sights. See more..

    今年4月清明节时去了次叶赫那拉，抱着很期待的态度，结果到那挺失望的。小小的一座古城，交通不是很发达，下午2点到那，逛了一圈，很多景点都关着门不让进，没什么好看的，古迹不多，很多都是新翻版出来的，里面工作人员态度不好，没游览到什么有价值的，结果3点钟就逛遍了叶赫那拉城，回去的时候没有车，打电话叫打的的车来接的，不是很方便，人烟稀少，可能是那的春天来的晚，四周到处还都是枯黄色。总体感觉不太好。 See more..
