Went there afternoon and the place is really beautiful. We had amazing walk around and from the top is great view . It took us approx. one hour but it was worth it. Place is clean, people friendly. Go if you have time. See more..

We went there mid March and it was still full of snow - and no-one manning the entrance - so we walked in for a little bit, but it was dangerous as the paths hadn't been cleared. However, driving from the train station to Lafa Mountain, was also beautiful - roughly 50rmb each way. Then there is a cable car you can take once on the mountain that is 60rmb return. There were no signs siaying when it opens, however, guessing by the snow, maybe at least early to mid April. We will definately go back for the whole experience in a few weeks time. Make sure you take the train to JiaoHe West. From the station it is maybe 20-30 mins... maybe even faster as when we went it was still snow and ice everywhere.See more..
