   The best thing is that it was free! I have been to many parks in China, but there is usually a fee. I think the park would have rated above average if I had gone a month earlier, except it would have been chilly, because there were the last vestiges of lilacs and cherry blossoms. I did find it to be a cool retreat from the heat, I managed to find a seat sort of out of the way - not easy with so many hundreds of people wandering through the park everyday. This is a park where a book can be enjoyed, but only on benches - there was not really any grass to spread a blanket on. Take along an umbrella to ward of the heat of the sun. See more..

   - Good hike up mountain. The women who come to pray for fertility too are interesting, but the hike is a good challenge.
