   I would say this place has the largest collection of life fishes from Amur River and around this region. There are dozens of tanks of different species of fishes (with Chinese and Russian descriptions), a very large aquarium with sturgeons and other larger fishes with a tunnel to walk through, specimens and an interesting section on the local tribes. Totally recommend this museum for an overview of the ecology, fishery industry and anthropology of the region! See more..

   This is the river port in Fuyuan on the Heilong (or Amur) River. In the winter it is quite obviously closed because the river is frozen over. It looks a lot different from the Tripadvisor cover photo. To the right there is a river walk that seems to be accessible only next to the river port but the walk goes all the way to the southern end of the city.    I don't know whose idea it was to list this as a thing to do, but it really isn't. They're just old houses in various states of disrepair. It would be nice if the city government would preserve some of these, but I don't think that'll happen. See more..
