   石油科技博物馆集中展现大庆油田科学建设的发展历程、系统展示油田勘探开发科学技术进步史、普及油气领域的相关科普知识、展示大庆油田科学建设的伟大成就、揭示技术进步对油田发展的支撑作用。工程建筑位于大庆市让胡路区世纪大道南侧，东环路东侧油田产能建设区域内。
   
   工程总建筑面积48000㎡，主体三层、局部四层，包括封闭式展厅、开敞式展厅等11个展厅，以及球形环幕电影放映厅、办公区间等部分。建筑总高度为36m，采用钢筋混凝土框架结构，基础采用桩基础。整个建筑从空中俯视是中国石油的标志宝石花的形状，宝石花中心为钻石型透明玻璃大厅，周边六个相对独立的花瓣两两对称，自北向南，从两边到中间，高度依次升高，建筑顶面向中心大厅倾斜，整个建筑形成向生产指挥中心倾斜的运动趋势。
   
   该馆位于油田公司生产指挥中心正南方，并与其位于同一空间轴线上。博物馆入口界面呈钝角张开，迎向办公楼共同形成围合之势。外立面采用大面积花岗岩及条形玻璃幕墙。
   
   工程于2007年4月1日开工，2009年9月竣工。石油科技博物馆于2009年9月26日——大庆油田发现五十周年之际向全市人民开放。 See more..

   Although it is a while since my last visit, I still have fond memories of Exhibition Hall and in particular the city itself. I found there were several places of interest in Daqing worthy of a visit, especially the wet lands ……. but just to travel around a city with so many oil wells pumping away day and night is incredible in itself. I also found the Daqing Theatre a place of interest with artists rehearsing almost all the time. I have visited several times arriving by plane, train and bus…. Daqing is a great base to explore Heilongjiang Province …. north to the Russian border and Inner Mongolia, west to the ice city Harbin …. or East to Mudanjiang ……. See more..

   Times Square has two distinct faces - the winter version and the summer one. There's not a lot of activity in the park during winter except for festivals like the Lantern Festival, Chinese New Year and sometimes Spring Festival. However, even though it's freezing cold, the snow blankets the grass and gardens, there are no leaves on the trees and the manmade lake is for ice skating. In summer, the place comes to life and many people find it a very peaceful place to sit and read, sleep and do some sports like tennis and basketball. You can cycle around the park, walk and jog. The gardens are maintained and it's a very safe place to be night or day. On a hot summer day the kids love playing in the fountain. I cycled around the park on more than a dozen occasions and found it relaxing, peaceful and quiet. I lived in Daqing so the date I went there last was in 2015. See more..

    Daqing might be a little outside the normal tourist road but you would not regret if take 2-3 extra days in Daqing when in China. This is a place be to feel the "wings of history". Daqing has an incredible history of China culture revolution. Iron Man Museum and all surroundings is must to visit. Here you feel the history. You can easily book rather cheap flights from Beijing to Daqing. I prefer Sheraton Hotel when in place. Close to one of the big shopping malls. Ask hotel to organize how to get a guided tour for Oil field Park, Iron Man Museum, etc They help you gladly. See more..

    Доехала на автобусе 106. Остановка называется 油田历史馆. Вход свободный. Если начать обход музей слева, то вы будете плавно переходить из одного здания в другое. Внутри музей и на территории очень чисто! Кроме меня, в музее почти никого не было. Советую сходить. See more..

    前往第一口油井去过两次，开始的时候冬天去的，路途比较偏远，一路上有点荒凉，一个遗址性质的公园并没有引起我的多少注意。第二次去的时候，正好几个班级的中学生在进行革命历史传统教育，作为石油工人的后代，这些孩子对于过去的历史特别感兴趣。大庆之所以有今天，拿上成千上万的石油工人用大庆精神建设出来的。我想大庆的明天应该属于年轻的一代，从大庆第一口油井的保护看，大庆油田和这个城市的明天和未来是充满希望的。

    This was a day out trip with other foreign workers that lived in Daqing. The rafting was one of the highlights of the trip but the Dragon Boat Racing certainly had us all working hard, particularly since the boats didn't have rudders! Although the review asks when I visited there, it was 5 years ago but that date does not compute. Heming Lakes is a summer holiday camp as well and there are cottages you can rent for days or weekends. On the lake there are a few crazy Chinese games you can play with war boats that shoot water cannons from the decks. Swimming, boating, rafting and then there is the customary Chinese Restaurant there. This was a huge place that usually caters for functions but was certainly a class above most places in the area. Another aspect of the trip is the drive there through farm country and hectares of cornfields and small villages where there was barely enough room for the bus to pass especially when local market stalls encroached well onto the very poor roads. The rafts came in three different classes as well. The basic raft has plastic chairs in which you sit as the oarsman wends his way through the reeds. The second class in which the chairs are a little more comfortable, then the upper class where the whole seating area is covered with mosquito netting. A glass of wine, cheese and salt crackers would be an added delight as the trip is the epitome of peace and serenity! See more..
