   Wanda plaza is a higher end mall. But because of this some people in it are able to speak English. And there are many western restaurants, including; McDonalds, Starbucks, Papa Johns, and others. There is also a good movie theater. The theater tickets are much cheaper if you buy them online, and it's worth noting that only one escalator goes to the right place on the third floor.    It's a bit far from the downtown, but it's nice. Wherever you are along or with friends - you will find what to do. Amazing place for taking pictures, enjoying the landscape. E-bus trip is available for 20 rmb. Lot's of shops with snacks&water are at the territory. Boating is available as well. To the right from the main entrance you can find an awesome Temple.    This mall is great for children. I wouldn't plan a vacation to visit the mall, but if you have kids and are traveling to Changchun, I'd highly recommend a visit. I'd give the mall a 3.5 rating overall compared to other places throughout the world; however, based on the other places I've been too in Changchun, I give it 5 stars. The stores were good and there were a lot of sales and good deals (especially shoes kids/male/female). Price were reasonable. Again, the place is kid friendly. The 3rd and 4th floor were pretty much indoor amusement parks or play areas. I thought fishing for goldfish with live bait and taking the fish you caught home with you as pets was a little odd. I thought it would be more of catch and release, but it wasn't a bad idea. Just a little odd. The "One Piece" play area was pretty cool as well. My 4 year old was a little small for it, but he still loved it. Again, it was a worthwhile visit. Well worth the time and taxi fare. See more..

    I had planned to go to a museum nearby but it was closed so I happened upon this park. It was full of people doing line dances, formal ballroom dancing to Chinese music, people singing, and people playing cards. I was immediately invited to dance and, when I declined, a new friend motioned for me to sit by her. She picked up her accordion and began to play for me. Because I'm a tall blonde, lots of people wanted to take pictures with me; everyone was so nice! It was a beautiful summer day with ice cream vendors, a beautiful pagoda, an amusement park, and a lake where you could rent paddle boats. I felt like I was experiencing more of Chinese life and culture than I ever would have in the museum. See more..

    This fully operational temple is situated right in the downtown area of the city. There is no entry fee but it does close at 3.30pm and beware of the beggars that operate outside the gate as not all are what they seem. The temple is not very old but does allow you to get away from the frenetic shopping area, it is however not large enough to lose the noise of the traffic!
