A little off the beaten track, the gallery features the work of owner, Frank Cossey, and other Caribbean artists. Satisfy your sweet tooth at Café La Dolcezza. 3. 5.0 Harrismith Beach (11 reviews)
    - Gorgeous little beach
    Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Harrismith Beach image
Harrismith Beach is a hidden gem on the Southeast Coast. The view from the cliffs overlooking the beach is stunning. Some beautiful ruins are featured at the top and a rock staircase leads down to the beach. The current is too strong for swimming, but if you just want to sit and watch the waves, this is a perfect, secluded spot. On your way to the beach, check out Marizayra's Sanctuary. It's a wonderful place to take the kids. There is a great collection of birds and animals and we had a wonderful, educational tour. It's located on the road to the beach. Both are highly recommended. Secluded and not busy while we were there. The views are absolutely spectacular. Water is too rough for swimming, but paddling in the beach surf works. And if you need rum punch, the table at the top of the stairs can help you out there!!! See more..

We happened to show up at an off time from scheduled tours but Lea was so kind to take us on a tour of the facility, explained the entire process, and was an excellent host during our tasting. We visited two other rum distilleries on the island but this one by far was our best and most intimate experience. Oh and the rum is amazing. I think I may need a larger bag to go home. would highly recommend this place and sampling their award winning rum! See more..
  12. 4.5 Foul Bay (163 reviews)
    - Foul Bay, Gorgeous Beach
    Bodies of Water
    Foul Bay image
Foul Bay, a beautiful beach for relaxation. Plenty of sun and shade. If you are driving, try not to park on soft sand. I would not recommend swimming, if the locals are not out swimming... because the current can be tricky, even for good swimmers. There are porta potties at this location, definitely off the main road, but not very hard to find. See more..

    - Go Karting and Radical Ride was soooo much fun!!!
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
Bushy Park Barbados Driving Experiences image
I went to Bushy Park with my boyfriend to celebrate his bday on 6.27. I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews because management there was so professional. I set up an appointment for 2 go karting sessions and 1 radical ride experience. We were the only tourists there. Go karting was so much fun, it seemed longer than it actually was. Safety is at the utmost concern and I couldn't feel safer. My bf did the radical ride. He's 6'1 a lil over 200 lbs and he enjoyed the experience immensely. His only qualm was due to it being a small car he was very hot. He would recommend to others but just keep that in mind. I'd highly recommend Bushy Park and have already to a few people I know heading to Barbados. See more..

Really enjoyed it and would recommend. See more..

    Marizayra's Sanctuary image
All sanctuary’s need support, this one is no different, a small drive from the airport and easy to find. It is basically small but very well loved sanctuary needing your support. The front of the sanctuary needs a sign pointing to the entrance, may be though that was just me . We were given a guided tour , by I believe a relative of the owner and as an expert, knew his animals ..... and snakes, spiders, rats, parrots etc etc. We were allowed to handle the snakes and that was a first for me. Loved it and well worth a visit See more..
