We visited Chalky Mount Pottery as we wanted to support a local business who lost their roof in the recent Elsa hurricane. We were overwhelmed at the fantastic array of beautiful pieces. We made a number of purchases and the owner was delightful. If we could get more on the plane, we would be back for more. It’s a little tricky to find as google maps didn’t quite take us to the right place but locals guided us to the right place. Do visit and support this wonderful business. See more..

Ngozi’s Farm and Sanctuary welcomed us with a warm and friendly spirit. The afternoon spent here was tailored to suit our requirements and was a truly enjoyable experience. We relaxed and enjoyed the serene scenery before Ireka showed us around the farm and pointed out and educated us on the different varieties of fruit, herbs, and vegetables being grown, including a whole field of edoes. During our stay, we enjoyed the delicious vegetarian meal Ireka had prepared for us, drank fresh Soursop juice, and bush tea made from lemon grass, sweet basil, bay leaf, spearmint and ginger. Ngozi Farm and Sanctuary provides lots of interesting, enlightening, and nourishing experiences and are able to tailor your time wit them their to suit your needs. I highly recommend contacting them directly to create a bespoke experience for you that you will carry with you long after your visit. See more..

There are two stables right next to each other on the Cleland Plantation. This review pertains to Ride Barbados with the phone number (246) 422-7433. Facilities at the stables are basic (no restrooms) but the stables are clean and the horses well cared for. When we arrived at our scheduled time, our guide Glyne had saddled the horses, each one well matched to the our sizes. He was happy to take a family of five including 3 kids from 8 years up. The tour was a wonderful experience, especially as somebody who has not done too much horseback riding. Most of the time was spent riding through forest and open bush, with incredible views. There were some respectable hills, all giving an exciting experience for us and the kids. On a couple of occasions, we saw monkeys close by in the forest. The ride on the beach was amazing, as Glyne led us down to ride in the breakers. Overall, this was worth the investment and is definitely a highly recommended trip! See more..

We had a wonderful time, we were picked up at our rental apartment on Dover Beach and had a tour of the island on the way to the stables. We were given horses to ride that were well cared for . We rode through the country side and down the hillside to the beach. We picked passion fruit and wild cherries on the way. we saw a troupe of monkeys, barbados sheep, birds etc on the way. We also saw the only working windmill on the island. The day was a highlight of our trip. Our guide gave us lots of interesting information on of the stables, the island and insight to the people who live there. I highly recommend this group. See more..

  17. 3.0 Morgan Lewis beach (1 review)
    - Beautiful views, not the best for swimming
    Beaches
Morgan Lewis beach is located on the east coast of Barbados. The views are beautiful and there was no one on the beach when my wife and I briefly visited. The reason is probably because the rough nature of the waters here which also have a strong undertow. This is a great beach to walk along and enjoy the views, but this is not a beach for casual swimming. See more..
