    Wouldn't suggest using this ferry company. They took too many passengers on the boat both times we were in it to dangerous levels. They don't leave or return at posted times, they simply wait and wait until they get more clients to just make more money. The staff blatenly lied to clients twice with posted return times at 2pm they didn't show up to ferry people across and then at 3 when they came they went on lunch which they said they would be quick and take us back before the posted 430 time, they lied to about 20 people waiting to go across. They didn't leave until closer to 5 and dangerously over populated the boat again. Would recommend another way across. For 20 reals per person they should stick to their posted schedule and not blatantly lie to passengers See more..

    A ponte sobre o rio Maruim foi inaugurada em 1858, pois os produtos da serra eram trazidos para São José, só então eram transportados de barco para Desterro (Florianópolis), pois a ponte Hercílio Luz foi inaugurada somente em 1926. Se transformou em pier quando em 1995 as fortes chuvas arrastaram a ponte, restando apenas a parte de São José. See more..
