After paying 60 baht entrance fee, we began a tour of Dhanabadee ceramic museum with a local guide that provided interesting informations about origin and evolution of the factory, and the process of making a famous Chinese style "chicken bowl". Also, we visited the real place where these ceramics were produced and watched some demonstrations. The tour ended at the statue of Dhanabadee's founder. Great tour ! After the tour was over, we bought some cutie souvenirs at the shop. There are also a cafe and DIY workshop (painting ceramic) at the place. Pity that we didn't have an enough time to participate this activity. Truly recommend to visit the place. Don't miss this. See more..

Open Air Museum Period Film Preservation Center image
The little private museum is owned by uncle Manit, a former voice actor and Thai herb expert. Filled with great passion, he was very proud to present us his collections, such as many vintage Thai movie posters and old movie projectors with film reels (8 mm/16 mm/35 mm). He provided us many interesting facts about history of movie projection in Thailand, then demonstrated the use of these vintage equipments by activated them to project a film for us. He also kindly gave us a hand of bananas to eat during enjoyed "Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness", a 1927 black-and-white silent film (and the first Thai's pseudo-documentary film), which he performed a live dubbing of all characters. Moreover, as Thai herb expert, he also explained us the knowledge about Thai herbs. The museum was free entrance. However, we bought some Thai herb products to support the place. Highly recommend! P.S. Visitor should make an advance appointment. See more..
