Really Nice Traditional Teak House!

A traditional teak house on 116 wooden pillars built in 1895. Ban Sao Nak has been in the same family for generations and is now maintained as a private museum. Portraits of the generations of the family are displayed. A lot of furniture and artwork displayed. Very well maintained. Open 10:00am to 5:00pm. The fee is 50baht and well worth it.

Interesting old Thai House
This is an old,(150 years), house and it is famous for the authentic nature and the preservation of a large amount of original features. The special interest is that it is supported on 150 Teak pillars and the entire house has sagged and bent over the years! There is a very small charge for visiting, (about 50Bht), and it is a low key experience where you just walk about and investigate at your leisure. About 40 minutes is plenty and we were given delicious Lychee Drink and Rice Cakes after our stroll. It is well worth an hour of your time.

Very nice old style house.
They have a couple of old style Thai house here. Like a museum both inside and outside. The inside is better than the outside in my opinion. Some really nice old style furnitures and other stuff. The outside could have done with some better restauration. The woman selling tickets and taking care was very nice and friendly.
