A day after we were in Banjarmasin, my German friends sent us photo's from orang oetan and told us to go to the bush with a boat for 4 days long to reach the place where the animals leaves. Until our surprising, we found the ugly nose monkey statue, almost real one, located in the city of Banjarmasin. I visited this watch tower on Sunday morning at about 10 am. This watch tower is really quite a good building although not so high, but it unfortunately seems like lonely. It seems that the visitors are only young couples that spend their times there. From the 4th floor, we can see beautiful view of Martapura River below. I heard that earlier in the morning there are some women on boats on the river selling vegetables, fruits etc that also known as "floating market" like in Lok Baintan, the one I made review before. I think the local government should make some promotions, so this place can be more famous and gets a lot of visitors.See more..

About 30 km from Palangkaraya, the capital city of Central Borneo, there is a Carmelite Monastery. There live four Carmelite Nuns : Sr.Agnes, Sr.Josepha, Sr.Anastasia and Sr.Stefana. What they do day by day are praying for people. We can leave our wishes with them to pray. They live in a quite good and clean place. In this area, there is a church, some rooms for meditation and a hill with 14 Stations of The Cross statues plus 2 additional statues. This place is open for public, but specially for meditation and praying purposes. There is no room service and no admission fee, but it's better to give donation for their lives.See more..

I live in tangkiling when i in elementry school, Tangkiling 32km from Palangka raya, and Banama rock is midle of Tangkiling hil (had another hill call Batu Tabala hill, Buhis hill, Karmel Hill etc.) Local people belive, Banama rock is tobe cos curse of god when Kiling meried with his mom (Bawi Kuwu). Many people climb this hill, need good stamina, near this rock you can see Pura (Hindunese holy place), so we like see Bali in Borneo :D and many Pasah Patahu (place for gifting food for god) and many yellow flag, dayaknese belive, area with yellow flag that mean at that area had spirit stay :D Climb hill for see sunset that very nice view :DSee more..

We visited this mosque because locals said that it's the biggest mosque in Tarakan and... we're agree. It's huuuge and has spacious parking lots. Unfortunately, outside of the mosque is very hot. I didn't get any sense of tranquility in this mosque, because there are a lot of street vendors in its garden and elementary school children in Tarakan often plays in the garden. It's nice to see them playing around but they're just too loud. I could not even hear when my friends are screaming to call me because the bus were ready to take us to the next site.See more..
