What a lone watch tower.
I visited this watch tower on Sunday morning at about 10 am. This watch tower is really quite a good building although not so high, but it unfortunately seems like lonely. It seems that the visitors are only young couples that spend their times there. From the 4th floor, we can see beautiful view of Martapura River below. I heard that earlier in the morning there are some women on boats on the river selling vegetables, fruits etc that also known as "floating market" like in Lok Baintan, the one I made review before. I think the local government should make some promotions, so this place can be more famous and gets a lot of visitors.

a park on a riverbank
New people-generator spot in banjarmasin. With concept like central park, where you can hang around, workout etc. the minus points would be the cleanliness of this park. but by far, this hangout spot still developing itself to be the real center for banjarmasin folk.

Vantage Point
It's a good place to visit if you are looking for a free and accessible vantage point to view Martapura River and Banjarmasin City. To avoid the crowd, visit in any of the weekdays if you can. I just wish the restaurants would sell something that is particular to Banjarmasin than the generic Indonesian food that they have in offer now.
