    Borobudur Temple Compounds This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The palace layout, which followed the basic design of the old city of Yogyakarta, was completed in 1755-1756; another building was added by the next Sultan of Yogyakarta.     We got the train from Gambir station to Bandung. The train is very comfortable, air-conditioned and very spacious. The seats are in rows of 2 and recline back. There is a toilet on the train and they serve food and drinks. Our 3 Euro journey cost approx 12 Euro each. See more..

    I recommend to visit here by online transportation. The area is so spacious. There is a tower than you can visit, it's called Asmaul Husna Tower. The outside mosque was so hot but inside was very fresh, probablye because there are many fans, and many architectures was made from woods. The toilet area was big and clean.     The city’s decision to restore the old town is brilliant. The ambience along that road is great, mixed people from rich to less so. The restaurants along the road have made the area really special and lively. When we walked at daytime we could see many more old buildings along the smaller connecting road that has so much potential to become shops or restaurants or cafe.     Me and my wife took holiday in Semarang during weekend. On Sunday morning we join the Sunday service at this church. It was really a good experience. The church still keep everything as original and everything was well maintained. After service we took the interior picture and then frlm outdoor as well. This is a really beautiful church.
