Madakaripura is an awe-striking attraction not to be missed. Prepare to experience the falls first hand, and get real wet, as the local guides bring you on a walk into the falls itself. If at all possible, request for Solikin as your guide, (the guide in blue tee in the attached pictures), as he single-handedly heightened the whole experience with his unexpected expertise in photo-taking. I visited this waterfall from Surabaya. It spend more than 4 hours to location. At the parking area there were many motorbike rider offered us ride to the waterfall. We can take a walk but the path is quite uphill and will spend more time. The view was really breathtaking from the view point terrace. The waterfall was located like in a big hole surrounded by trees. You may go down to the waterfall if you have enough time and strong enough to go down and up the stairs from the view point terrace.See more..

We found this waterfall after visiting 4 beaches (Indrajanti, Drini, Kukup and Baron). The Kedung Kandang waterfall is about 1 hour drive from beaches as well as from Yogya. It is not well known but wonderful. I could imagine a paradise under the panoramatic view from the hill. The full name is Air terjun Kedung Kandang. After heavy rain is the access limited due to a slippery way. But you will not regret it, believe me.See more..
