Came here on early nov with my families. Took the speedboat from Ancol (300k/pax oneway). The journey less than 2hrs. Arrived at the island we rented motorcycle during our trip. The beach are quite dirty but when we took private boat for full day, it was worth taking. The scenery was amazing and we went for snorkeling at few spots, definitely will come back again. We stayed at decent homestay with aircon. No amenities in the room, you better bring your own bodywash, shampoo, towel and most importantly is the conditioner! In the island, there's nothing much you can do, as the island was small and crowded. I strongly recommend that you rent a boat for island hopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip of 3 days to Pari Island - it is very much off the beaten track for International Tourists and it gives you a 'Real Life' feel of the Indonesian people and their culture. Local Food at Virgin Beach is great and very in-expensive and we had a wonderful snorkel experience off the coast at Virgin Beach. The Boat Ride and the Homestay was fantastic as you travel and stay with the local people, which is a preference of ours, but you need to have a 'Basic Needs' approach and not expect the luxuries of Bali. I would advise a boat trip from Kali Adem with one of the old, slow boats - rather than a speed boat from Marina Ancol; only if you are interested in an authentic experience with the locals.See more..
Took a boat tour with Coconut Grove and had a fabulous day. The island is beautiful, you can find a part that’s just got you and no one else. Water as clear as can be. Only cost 200000rph and worth every penny. Great snorkelling and nice lunch on the beach. This tour is a must if you visit Karimunjawa, staff funny and take you to some cool spots to find Nemo! Although Pulau Harapan in itself is not one of the most beautiful islands, but it is surrounded by some awesome islands. We booked a package online from eisham project for 350k per person. It included to and fro travel, snorkeling, island hopping, accommodation for one night and 3 meals. It was a steal for that price. This island is a value for money best spot. Near with Tanjung Pasir harbor. Cost only 40k for back and forth crossing trips. The place is clean. The people are clean and ready to accept guests. Pulau Macan (Tiger Island) is one of beautiful island from the thousand island located in the north of Jakarta. Its take approx 2 hours with speedboat from Ancol Harbor to the island. The island offer a private and relaxing spot to enjoy your short vacation. its only 40 pax allow per day to stay in the island! The internet only provided at the lobby or main building, this is very good strategy to get people together and to know each other rather than spent too much time on the hut. The food provided is support delicious (Indonesian and international) served at the mean lobby who always open 24 hours, so if you hungry you can just pop up and enjoy some small bite with coffee or tea (Ginger tea recommended) Who like to hit some liquor, they have a bar to pop on with additional charge. They provided s many classic games, Jenga, cards, Monopoly etc. we can even borrow guitar! they also have tennis table & badminton. other activities, daily they have snorkeling trip, each day different spot. Few meter from our island there is Pulau Macan Gundul, other empty island which you can visit by walk or paddling or canoeing. You can go round the island (and see your Hut from outside) with canoe/ paddling while enjoy the sunset! our accommodation is called Zen Hut, eco freindly villa with direct sea access. The decoration and furniture is very unique, created by creative locals. Alhamdulillah, i have been there, Sabira/Sebira island. The most northern island of DKI Jakarta. If you go there with boat, we need 8 hours from Angke or 3 hours if using speedboat, unfortunately there is no public transportation , hopefully this year the goverment can provide public transportation^ ^ There are still relics of history, the lighthouse of the Dutch era, and many spots that can be visited, there are also turtle breeding. The extent only about 8 ha but satisfied and i want to back again. The island is still virgin ^^ Let's go there ^^See more..
