    quick beach getaway from Jakarta
    It's only an hour away by boat from Jakarta. You can do snorkel and diving, though the water is pretty muddy and water isn't very clear. Still it's good if you want to get some sea without going too far from the capital.

    Jakarta and Putri island
    I spent a couple of days in Jakarta with my family. I liked the city it reminds me of Bangkok it can be quiet chaotic. Good shopping but you must find the right places otherwise its just expensive. We had quiet some troubles to book a couple of days on the islands probably since the tourism has just reopened. To book a ferry and accommodation we had to go to the port at Dermagta16 Marina Ancor there we found a booking agent that gave us a quotation for 7 nights on Putri island plus ferry. 2.500.000 IDR per person sharing a double bed in a sea view bungalow, breakfast, lunch and dinner included all buffet food wasn’t special but good. The stuff on the island was very courteous (Like everywhere else in Jakarta) the SCUBA dive guide couldn’t speak English and didn’t even have a clock watch. The dives have been awesome tho!!!
