The Acuario de Zaragoza (river aquarium) was inaugurated on 2008, it contains over animal specimens 6,000 from 360 species of fauna native to five rivers around the world (Nile, Mekong, Amazon, Murray-Darling and Ebro) distributed among 70 animal´s facilities. In Spain, it is the only aquarium with such a wide range of freshwater species, including fish, reptiles, mammals, amphibians and bird.
