Visited on a beautiful sunny day in early Spring. Just me and my doggie. It's a $5 entrance, follow the path to parking and from there you have several trails to take. I took the Lakeside Trail all the way through, it really is 1 hr and 30 minutes trail walk. And I especially took my time stopping and admiring the peaceful views. Once I got back to the parking lot I took a few steps down to see the dam waterfall. Although it's called a "park" it truly is more than that, it's the spot for hiking and biking, a true gem of this city. Moved here 4 months ago, been here twice and will definitely be a frequent spot for me. Can't wait to see it in all 4 seasons but this place has a very tranquil feel. There's also a section to view animals but dogs are not allowed, so I didn't go through it this time. See more..

Really nice path that extends practically all the way through Kingsport. You have to get off at one point to go all the way but it's a great ride or walk if you just cover what extends without getting off the path. There are shady areas , deer, ducks, a creek that runs along side....paths that go up to areas to eat , or shop. So you can take a break if you want.....check out a bike shop...get coffee at Starbucks ...another point where you come up to Petsmart, Tj Max , Ross, Ashley Furniture...Chilis , Olive Garden to name a few places in that Center. We love riding our bikes thereSee more..

4.0Putt-Putt Fun Center(39 reviews) - Fun course Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM Amusement & Theme Parks
Considering that it's the only putt-putt we have in the area, it'll have to do. Course is fun to play but is overdue for some upkeep. The railings are rusty and the green turf is pulled up on every hole. Could use some maintenance.See more..

4.5Exchange Place(36 reviews) - Best place Thursday: Farms
The Exchange Place Living History Farm is the best place to visit in Kingsport. Their volunteers interpret mid-19th Century farm life as they take you into buildings that are almost 200 years old. But it is still a working farm, with animals and an active garden. Be sure to visit during their festivals (5 each year) and on weekend afternoons from May through October.See more..
My wife and I stayed overnight at the Marriott and ate here. We like to each order a meal and share, I can tell you the fillet and lamb chops we shared were fantastic! The service was also top notch, you can't beat the southern hospitality. A friend suggested we stop here on our way to Virginia and we not disappointed, I wish I brought my golf clubs.See more..

This is a great new brewery for Kingsport! They have created a wonderful atmosphere and everyone is super friendly. Last night they unveiled their own brews with outstanding success! We had the Stout, IPA, Cream Ale and Brown - all of which are excellent! We love they chose local names for their brews like Azalea Trail and South Holston:) We are excited to see them grow and look foreword to trying everything they brew! An added extra- this place is dog friendly so for those who want to hang out with their fur baby and have brews - this is the place!See more..
