Great race track

Tons of fun and excitement for a evening out.Really fun watching these young guys battling it out. Way to go Ronnie's McCarty.

Short Track concrete racing at its best
Kingsport Speedway is located in Kingsport, TN. This is a concrete 3/8' mile short track that is NASCAR sanctioned. 5 divisions: late model, modified street, pure street, pure 4 and mod 4. The track runs from March until the first Friday in September. Please check them out on Facebook for latest information and schedule. $10.00 for adults and children 12 & under free. Bring a folding chair and ear plugs. This is an action packed race track.

Racing anyone? ?
I've gone here since I was a young girl and the track was a dirt track! My grandfather Barnett raced ....and my uncle Kenneth Murray actually owned this track years ago. I was also Miss Winston 500 here in 1976 and Geoff Bodine won that race! It has been renovated and is concrete now, which makes for cleaner outing ?. I know a lot of local racers . Always something exciting going on.... It's a fun Friday night adventure . Karen Tunnel has done a great job with this track ! Definitely a do list for the area ? As far as I'm concerned! ???
