Steak melted in my mouth!
My wife and I stayed overnight at the Marriott and ate here. We like to each order a meal and share, I can tell you the fillet and lamb chops we shared were fantastic! The service was also top notch, you can't beat the southern hospitality. A friend suggested we stop here on our way to Virginia and we not disappointed, I wish I brought my golf clubs.

Sustainable maintenance program good for golf and good for environment
Cattails at MeadowView Public Golf Course is an Audubon Cooperative Partner awardee and maintains records while using approved methods that result in a beautiful course that is safer to play. The beauty speaks for itself and after nearly twenty years the original wetlands within the course are still healthy. The course is a Kingsport Birding Trail (KBT) location and volunteers complete bird studies here every year reporting dozens of species including herons, owls, and eagles.

good seafood buffet
It is a buffet, but the dishes were very good. A station added cooked to order dishes of the specialty offered that night. Great place to take a large group...we had eleven the night we were there and were given a private area. It also helps to be a Marriott rewards member and mention that when booking reservation (always better for larger groups). The Sunday brunch is excellent also, with cooked to order omelets and waffles. If you don't mind a buffet, this is the ONE to visit in Kingsport.
