    Beautiful park--attend the nature talks!
We camped here for 2 nights and loved it. The park has wonderful hiking trails. The trails that connect to the campground such as the trail around the lake are very pretty and well worth the time. The views are outstanding, especially as the leaves are changing. We also attended two nature talks by Marty Silver and also participated on a hike led by Marty over in the mountain bike trail area. Marty is excellent as a speaker, presenter, and naturalist. He is very knowledgeable and can connect with adults and children alike. Make an effort to find out what talks are being offered and attend them! The hike was also excellent. Ours to the plateau area was about a mile long and we stopped to talk about trees, plants, birds, turtles, etc. so it took about 2 hours total. Very interesting and we all picked up a lot of new information.

    Great experience at the campground!
We stayed 4 nights in the campground and hiked several trails and had an excellent time. The campground staff was very efficient, friendly and on top of things. My wife and I enjoyed our time there very much. Great atmosphere and great scenery. We will definitely stay there again sometime.
