Water is full of plastic bottles and plastic bags and wrappers which is disgusting to swim in which is why most people drink beer and sunbath except City Hall no longer allows the rented loungers to be dragged into the sunny beach.    A lot of noise for nothing! It is a good location for those who want to see a bazaar with various cheap fakes . There is also the area with food where you can find from beetles and fried worms to seafood. It's up to everyone what they want. For those who do not bear the pungent odors, it is not recommended. I gave it 4 stars for the diversity of the people there. Whole families with young children, come to work extra to make a penny for their family.    Island Koh Larn is about 2 hrs drive from Bangkok. You to take a ferry or speed boat from Pattaya City. It is about 200 bahts round trip speedboat. The speedboat ride is about 15 mins. We stayed in Tawaen Beach area. So we got on a motorcycle taxi to our resort about 40 bahts each way. Tawaen Beach is amazing. White sandy beach. Water is really clear and warm. Not much in term of night life at Tawaen, but there is an outdoor live music where you can sit back and relax. Order some food or drinks. Sadly the beach has trash issue. Hopefully the local govt can educate locals as well as tourists no to litter. Would definitely come back again. Good for weekend getaway See more..

    We went around mid-day. Monkeys were everywhere, Thais were selling fruit to give to the monkeys. We didn't buy any though, if you stop in the middle of the road the monkeys will jump on the car.     We visited the spa during a weekday and were pleased with the professionalism of the staff. We all selected different services, including a full body massage and facial. The full-body massage is highly recommended as the staff pays a lot of attention to the pressure points. Another attraction is the use of Jurlique products, which makes the experience worthwhile. I will not recommend the facial (Hydra) as there was hardly anything the masseur did and I did not feel refreshed at all!     After a 10 minute tour (which is why this gets two stars and not just one), we were shuffled into a small room (luckily air conditioned) and given a 30+ minute presentation on the virtues of bee products. The tour itself was nice — you get to see the small Thai bees (like small ants), hold a shelf filled with bees (luckily smoked so they were disoriented) and see some museum exhibits about bees (including the largest hive found in Thailand). The product demonstration (honey, royal jelly, bee pollen...) was a bit much — apparently you can cure constipation, spur a growth spurt, cure cancer, make you look young forever and heal all sorts of wounds!     Biggest draw of this place is the upside down house. It's fun, and small to explore. There is a hidden fee to do they gyro and to ride the backwards bikes, which is a bit of a bummer. The twisty castle isn't much to be explored, but there are some items which are entertaining. You'll spend less than an hour here if it's not too crowded.     To begin with, the proper name for this attraction is Ko Loy (ko or koh meands island in Thai.. Ko Loy is a small island just 300 meters off the coast of Si Racha, a coastal town in Chonburi Province. It has a beautiful Chinese temple and commands stunning views back to Si Racha town and out across the Gulf of Thailand, where there are usually dozens of freight ships at anchor, waiting their next cargos. Ko Loy is connected to the mainland by a causeway. If you are planning on visiting Ko Loy you had better put the plans on hold for a while because the causeway is currently closed for massive renovation and reconstruction.     We had rented a scooter in Pattaya. Having being heard much about the shooting range in close vicinity of Pattaya we decided to give it a go. It was almost 20kms from south Pattaya Google Map showed us the way. After a few stops to consult people on the way it took around 45 minutes to reach there. We were tired riding in the sun but upon reaching there all of it disappeared. After completing the formalities and making payments for the adventure we finally started the act. It was a very good experience with variety of guns available to choose from. A few guns were not functioning well and the bullets got bad upon firing but as courtesy the facility changed the bullets with the new one. Overall this place is worth visiting. There, right on the roadside about five kilometers from Sattahip, is a fat golden Chinese-style Buddha, about 20 meters tall.
