    - Quality Museum
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks
Visiting the Maji Maji Museum was a great way to spend the afternoon in Songea. The quality museum shares the history of the Maji Maji war in Songea, and the impact this has had on the culture of the area. The Ngoni Chief, Songea, for which the town is named after, is buried behind the museum along with a mass grave for warriors in the war. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. See more..
