This is hands down one of the greatest experiences. The views are spectacular, and the staff is phenomenal. Our pilot, Johnny, was knowledgeable and only enhanced the experience. We were fortunate enough to have the founder, Tony, join us for the included english breakfast after the journey. You can feel the passion of the people surrounding this company and the joy they have for ballooning. They love this business, and I truly felt that as a customer. You may or may not see a lot of animals (pilots have no control over this), but the views alone are worth the price of admission. This is one unbelievable Wildlife Sighting! Even those who are familiar with wildlife and game drives can hardly anticipate what this spectacle is all about. Surrounded by millions of animals moving around frantically, this is one experience that has to be seen to be believed. We witnessed this in May 2022 at Serengeti and completely overwhelmed. Although the migration is predominantly about Wildebeests and Zebras, there are many other animals and birds around. We also saw the migration moving across a stream. Be prepared to wait and then blown away with the thousands crossing. The wildebeest cross on their schedule, not yours so patience is key. The first day we were there for an hour and they started crossing. The next day, we waited for 4 hours before the thousands that had gathered suddenly decided to cross at two different points not far from each other. The guides driving the vehicles get a little crazy jostling for viewpoints. Bring good binoculars 8x42 minimum. You'll want something quite a bit more powerful than a 300mm telephoto lens (600+ if you want close ups). We didn't see any crocs waiting to feed, they were down river and looked like they had a feast the day before, but we did see them along with giraffe, elephants and a leopard that was stalking some impala. This balloon ride was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve been blessed to have in my life thus far. Upon arrival, my brother, mom, and family friend were greeted by the pilot, David Kinsella and lovely staff, with a warm welcome and coffee. David’s kind and comforting presence briefed us about our positioning in the balloon and how he planned to fly us. During the flight, David made sure we caught the sunrise (captivating) and any animals we might spot in the Serengeti. David is an extremely thoughtful and passionate pilot. He didn’t have to tell us he loved what he did. It was obvious. Once we landed, we celebrated with champagne and the staff danced. Then we enjoyed a tranquil breakfast in the Serengeti where we shared stories and laughs. We all left that balloon ride extremely grateful to have such an outstanding once in a life time experience. Look no further for scheduling a guided tour than Tanzania Safari Supremacy. Elvice (Elvis) is the owner and coordinator, and the most responsive of all tour operators we investigated. Day and night on Whatsapp open communication... I don't think the man sleeps he cares that much about creating a custom trip that works for your family. My spouse and I had a 5 day guided tour that we unfortunately had to cut short after day two. Our guide, Julious, was an amazing person and provided a wonderful expedited animal viewing experience on our final day to ensure we saw all the animals we dreamed of. Highly recommend Ngorogoro Crater as a must see. Our balloon ride with Shine Balloon Safaris was such a wonderful experience! The ride was so amazingly smooth and steady that I quickly forgot it was my first balloon ride. The entire crew, especially the pilot Seyit, were wonderful. It was a perfectly amazing time, gliding high above the gorgeous scenery and wildlife at dawn of the Serengeti National Park. We rented a car and drove there by ourselves. It was great to spend hot day in the shadows of beautiful trees, to see the monkeys (though in the middle of the day they're not so active, but still it was wonderful to see them not in zoo, but in natural habitad). Also I saw a very big lizard in woods, and millions of crabs in mangroves. And after Jozani forest tour ended in 2 min drivin on the right sight of the road we found a zoo, where you can feed trout, hold in your hand tiny turtles, and touch veeery big ones, and! you can also hold a python in your hands! So, that was really wonderful day full of joy and experience. P.S. If you'll rent a car in Zanzibar drive slowly, they are checking out speeding in unexpected places.)) See more..

55 years ago I dreamt of watching the sunset on the Serengeti- I finally got my chance to do it for 2 nights, and it exceeded my dreams. This was at least 6 weeks before the wildebeest migration, yet we saw at least 10,000 large mammals in our one full day of safari there. My favorite part of the experience was witnessing a group of young men going through their rights of passage! I also liked getting out of the truck and being able to touch the land.
