I was there at the early stages of Covid19 didn't seem like anything was happening there other than having my temp taken all over Singapore and each time I would get to the cable cars.     We took the currently free Sentosa Express from Vivo City and alighted at the last stop - Beach Station. From there, we took the free shuttle to the last stop - Siloso Point. Walk to the road and head left and the starting point is not far from there. There is a lift to get to the top of the Skywalk and here you can enjoy the sweeping views of the city area as well as the sea. There is an Info Board that tells you of the islands in front of you. The Skywalk takes you to Fort Siloso which was a fort built by the British to defend Singapore. Highly recommend that you walk the grounds to get a feel of fort life during WWII. Both the Skywalk and Fort Siloso are free. See more..

You can book it online especially for the weekend, it's quite fast and etc. Nearest MRT station is the sentosa beach station gets you directly from Vivo city.     visited the beach on a weekday morning to find fences, scanning point and rope squares for each group of no more than 5 (some weren’t...). beach was clean, water a decent opaque green (normal for Singapore), and the lifeguards were keeping an eye on things as we heard them yelling at people to not climb on the rocks 100m away. Nice view of the offshore ships in Singapore anchorage (>30 in sight), but no oil and debris, and by coincidence a lot of Air Force planes and helicopters flying up and down too. See more..
