Some gimmicky interactions - but overall still a passable experience
Madame Tussauds was comprehensive in terms of sections and offerings. However, some characters were scattered across Sentosa Island as 'marketing' for the museum. Something I felt they could improve on: There were 2 "Selfie with a celebrity" area where a phone was angled in the hands of a wax figure and you take a selfie with it. 1 of them you were supposed to scan a QR code to download the photo online - but the QR code doesn't work, leads you to some AWS server page. The other would screen your captured image onto a TV monitor for you to view and download, but upon refreshing the images for a few times, my picture didn't turn up. We were one of the first to enter the museum, so it was rather clear that the staff didn't erase past databases / check these interactions to see if it works. Really quite disappointing when expectations fail.

    Ok
After leaving Universal Studios earlier than we expected we found ourselves with some free time so decided to visit Madame Tussauds. Looking at the website on my phone I was surprised just how much more expensive it was to pay on the day rather than booking online in advance. Unfortunately I wasn't able to book tickets online using my phone through the official website so instead I booked with Klook and was able to collect the tickets immediately. The waxworks were ok but I am glad we didn't pay full price as I don't feel it was worth it.
