It was 5 mins drive in the dark woods beside the highway almost 50km prior to chelyabinsk. I visited the Bazhov park on a sunny arm afternoon. It is close to the main bus station, so I just walked there after getting to Zlatoust by inter-city bus. The park belongs to the local metals plant. I highly recommend the local studies museum of Zlatoust. Check the opening times beforehand. I took an audio-guide first, but then I started talking to a local employee and learnt so much from her, much more than an audio-guide would give me.
