-A fun (and safe) way to see the rainforest!
Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
This was such a fun experience for our family. The guides were kind and made us all feel safe. I was nervous about my kids (8, 10 and 12) but the team made us feel so safe and comfortable! What a beautiful way to enjoy the rainforest! See more..

-Ziplining
Friday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
You won't be disappointed with this family run ziplining park. From the start we were met by a very friendly staff. It was lightly raining an I was without a water prof cover for my phone. A supply had just arrived while we were being trained. I was able to purchase the enclosure and use my camera for videos during the runs. The training staff was thorough, friendly, and always made us feel safe. The equipment was well maintained and top of the line. All jump off and receiving towers are made of steel and extremely well anchored. Safety is a main concern of this park and it show. The highlight of the adventure is the 2500' zipline. They gradually lead you up to this by building confidence in you with the shorter training runs. We look forward to coming back with more famkly members in a couple of years. Thank you, John & Patty See more..

-Highlight of our trip - we went twice!!!
Sightseeing Tours
Can't say enough. Mama (Dorlisa) and Papa (Eric) were the most gracious of hosts during our two visits. We went our first day and had such a fabulous time, we scheduled an El Yunque tour and half beach day for our last day too. The food is fantastic - all prepared by Dorlisa while you watch if you want. Their beach is PERFECT for kids (calm water) and their SUP, kayaks, and snorkeling gear are great for the entire family. It doesn't get any more local than this. You get a wonderful couple to spend the day with and they are next to a public beach so you can meet even more locals to chat with. They are concerned with you having a good time without being over bearing or in your face. We felt safe and relaxed the entire time. They have gear for in the water and games to play on land too. I didn't take many pictures because I was busy having a good time. But, we travel for the memories and experiences, not just the pictures. See more..

-El Yunque walking tour
Sightseeing Tours
My wife, daughter and I went on a walking tour of the El Yunque rainforest and had a great day with John. He is so knowledgeable of the plants and ecology, as well as the culture and other info about Puerto Rico with all the time he has lived there. He is also has a wit about him that makes the trip even more enjoyable!!! We hiked 5-6 miles to three different observation tours, but the walk was not hard or even very muddy with the rain the area receives. We would definitely recommend John to others!! See more..

- 5.0 Julian's Transportation Service (11 reviews)
-Reliable, affordable, and comfortable transportation in PR!!
Spent More than 3 hours Taxis & Shuttles
I called Julian's transportation service at the recommendation of my Airbnb host after discovering that Uber is not reliable in most areas of PR. I was unable to secure a rental car as they were all sold out or not available for pickup where needed. Julian put me in touch with his wife, Awilda, to arrange all of our transportation needs for the week. I can't say enough about how accommodating and hospitable Awilda was. She worked with me several times to change our itinerary when unexpected issues (ferry schedule changes, excursion time changes, and bad weather) arose. We are so appreciative of her! We would have had to miss several experiences if she hadn't been so flexible. I would definitely recommend this transportation service and will use them again if ever in PR! See more..

-Great for nature loving families
Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Walking Tours • Night Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We visited with a large family party June 2022. There was only one other couple (besides our famiky) on our trip. Manuel led the walk, and it is obvious how much he loves Puerto Rico and its biodiversity. Someone please fund this young man’s research! We have a LOT of nature lovers and some very knowledgeable people in our group, and Manuel impressed us. Mara and Nelson were with him, they were kind and attentive and helped locate coquis and wildlife. Is this a walk you can do yourself and swim in the pool at the bottom? Yes. Would you get as much out of it without the guides and experiencing it at night? Not a chance. Highly recommend. If you are in PR long enough I would explore more of El Yunque, but this walk was so informative and entertaining. See more..

The trail is 1.3 kilometers long, not a long hike but it is a pretty good workout. Well worth it, walking down the middle of the only rainforest in America and a good way to spend about an hour and a half walking and enjoying the beautiful nature of the forest. Bring your walking shoes and a rain jacket or umbrella. See more..

- 4.5 Mandara Spa at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa (51 reviews)
-Ok .. but don’t forget to pay …
Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spas
Great experience … just don’t let them think you’re skipping out on the bill. We were there for 5 days spent well north of $1500 dollars yet they they thought were going to skip out on $500 spa bill … are you kidding. We are Wyndham owners for well over 20yrs … and the place was busy when we left. Needless to say they quickly reopened our bill and charged the services … whew !! We told them we would be back .. I guess they didn’t believe us … See more..

-Marvelous and enriching tour!
Friday: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sightseeing Tours
If you are ever looking for marvelous, wholesome, and enriching time you need to take this tour! Not much to do during pandemic reopening and as a family decided to take the tour. Just our family because you have the option to do so. Evelyn, the owner was so knowledgeable and friendly and always maintained safety procedures making sure we followed CDC pandemic guidance. The tour itself was amazing just pure delight and picturesque landscape, so take plenty of pictures. She was very interactive and there is a quiz at the end, so pay close attention. You learn a lot. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have kids they will enjoy from start to finish. See more..
- 4.5 Yokahu Tower (6 reviews)
-At 4:30pm nobody else goes up the tower...
Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Observation Decks & Towers
Please arrive before 4:30pm if you would like to go up the tower. We arrived there at 4:33pm and they wouldn’t let us go up. They explained that it has a store and all the places at El Yunque Rainforest that have a store close at 4:30pm. The view from there was still stunning and the flowers amazingly lovely! I have an Airbnb in Santurce #drsoulpr and I bring my guests to El Yunque for a short ride if they stay a week or more with me. Enjoy!! See more..
