This trip was outstanding. My wife and I took our 9 and 12 year old girls. Even though the seas were a bit choppy after an overnight storm, the kayaking was completely doable. Keisha, the owner and guide, was impeccably prepared and very safety-oriented. We saw hundreds of monkeys from close to shore - babies, juveniles and adults of both sexes. We stayed in Palmas del Mar and walked to maragata's dock instead of driving 40 minutes to fajardo for a different excursion. Captain Matt and First Mate Jerry were friendly and helpful. There were only 12 people on the boat and no crowds where they took us. This is not a rowdy booze cruise if that's what you're looking for. They did provide a few beers. The ride was fun, the snorkeling pretty good and the scenery pretty. And afterward there is a cool bar next door where we had lunch. All in all a great day. See more..

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Felipe, Francisco and Maria were fabulous. They are extremely safety conscious and I felt totally safe the entire time. My pictures and video will be a treasured keepsake. My favorite part was also the scariest: looking down at the ground from the open plane door. I would do this again and again if we lived in PR. Water Sports and Ecotours is located in the Humacao Nature Reserve which is on the southeast coast of Puerto Rico, Rio Abajo neighborhood, on highway PR-3, kilometer 75.7. It is a unique place to do ecotourism for its brackish lagoons. It also has beaches (not for bathing), swamps and mangroves. It is divided into three major segments: the Pterocarpus swamp and Mandri lagoons, both north of highway PR-3 and Santa Teresa and Palmas lagoons, south of highway PR-3. As you walk through the Reserve, you will observe different ecosystems and the different species that lives in the habitat that they use as nesting and home such as the beach the forest and mangroves.
