Our family had a great time with Ricardo and Emeliz. They were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Made us feel safe talking all sanitary precautions. We enjoyed every second of the 3 days we spent together. If you want to have a great adventure you MUST book with them, we look to going back for more. P.S Our group was conformed from young kids to seniors, and we were able to enjoy every activity because they made sure of it. See more..

Francisco was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge of nature and Puerto Rico's facts was awesome. Made me feel safe during the whole hike trip. His dedication to the safety of the group and preservation of nature was impressive. Definitely will come again and recommend to anyone wanting to explore nature with a superb guide. See more..
- 5.0 Punta Viento (1 review)
-Scenic and Secluded Walking Beach Near Nature Reserve
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Scenic Walking Areas
We'd been advised by a local to visit Punta Viento, also called Punta del Viento, a walking beach located near a nature preserve. I recommend this if you want to have a "little adventure" while being pretty safe - and there's no cost! We had a hard time finding it and stumbled upon it. You take the road past Patillas beach, where it dead ends from a concrete street into a dirt road going into a forested area. Drive slowly and carefully, and hopefully be in a Jeep, or go on foot. Take dirt pathways maybe a quarter mile over a little bridge (fishermen look for blue crab there) and into the trees. Park off to the side wherever you can to let other cars pass. This is TOTALLY off the beaten paths for tourists and seems to be a destination for locals. Then go on foot and veer to the right. You eventually come to this lovely walking beach. Sure, you could go in the water, but the waves are a little rough, so you might risk undertow if you go more than waist deep into the water. BUT, this is an excellent beach for a single, couple's or family walk along the shore with beautiful views. Lots of little sea shells and fossilized coral washing ashore. In the non-wavy areas you can find a few crabs sunning themselves. Recommend wearing sandals you don't mind getting wet, and wearing sunglasses and sunscreen. See more..
