   No suelo escribir largo, pero esta vez creo q vale la pena. Fue dificil llegar, poca señalizacion en Gral. Garay, la unica referencia sobre ruta es la comisaria local. Luego son 8km de camino de tierra (no ir en autos pequeños luego de una lluvia o ante amenaza de). Se paga 35mil x adulto, 50mil si quedas a acampar y 100mil aparte si se desea un guia (recomiendo pagar el guia si vas x 1ra vez o con niños; el locaĺ NO es atendido x el estado paraguayo, asi que xfavor no quejarse de pagar un poquito para seguir manteniendo de forma privada). El lugar no cuenta aún con infraestructura completa (no hay agua ni comida), x lo q hay q llevar todo cuidando de no cargarse mucho. No es recomendable ir post lluvia, con niños menores de 10 años, con enfermos crónicos o sobrepeso (mi marido esta en sobrepeso y se sintió mal, aunque llegamos en 3 horas). Teniendo en cuenta todo esto, para jovenes y aventureros es fantastico, ecoaventura REAL. See more..

   An excellent nature reserve without any tourists, again. Beautiful views of the Paraguay countryside that are definitely worth the time to get there (call it an hour of off-roading alone). If you can be there for the sunset, even better! See more..

   this is a good sized park with about 3 kms of paved track round that you can bike or walk. in the middle there are exercise areas with equipment, tennis courts, squash court, kids playground and sports fields as well as a small lagoon. there is also a tourist information centre. its family friendly, you'll find the locals out getting their exercise in the evenings, and there is a police booth at the entrance.    we had a guide who explained (in Spanish) with pride and interest all about the history of Fermin Lopez, and took us round the whole little museum, which is housed in a colonial building that was one of the first schools way back ... very interesting ... and out the back was a small public library with books available to the students and public of villarrica, something not very common in Paraguay.    One of the very few mini golf places we've found in Paraguay. The owner has invented his own 18 hole course, set in clean and tidy gardens. Some of the holes are quite difficult to do, but there is no hurry, and there are little benches to sit and watch from, under the shady trees. He also has it illuminated for playing at night.
