  1. 5.0 Boquete Bees and Butterflies (295 reviews)
    - Worthy and excellent tour!
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Spent 2-3 hours Farms
    Boquete Bees and Butterflies image
Panama's home of live, bio-active single variety honey. We also have a 200 sq meter butterfly house with over 30 local species of butterflies. Emerge yourself in the pollinators with a half day tour or else just swing buy for honey tastings and butterfly house (open 9-4), shop (open 9-4). We have a unique offering and we want to share it with people who like high quality honey, love nature and want to make a difference by supporting our small business. We are passionate about taste. We can offer honey tastings like no other. More varied than anywhere else in the world that we know of. We produce a vast range of different flavors of honey depending on the floral source. This is unique and only possible because of the enormous biodiversity in Western Panama around Volcan Baru. This small Isthmus has Atlantic and Pacific coasts, 11,000 ft mountains and just about every type of forest and grassland in between. Some of our honeys are rare, some we have in larger quantity. We are serious about health. Our honey and our honey bees are very healthy. We sell raw minimally filtered honey. More than that though, our honey is pure and pristine in ways that are not possible in most of the developed world: 1. Most of our honeys are from wild plants which have no chemical treatment and are utterly pristine 2. Our bees are healthy, we do not need to feed antibiotics or miticides We want to teach people to better understand how to care for our pollinators. We offer a tour on our honey farm in Boquete. We treasure all types of bees and keep on the farm a wide variety of forage for bees, different types of native bees to illustrate how bees and plants are meant to exist together. Our butterfly house is 200 sq meters and is full of fun and activity. Sure to delight all ages. See more..

  7. 5.0 Finca Ceriana Nature Reserve (56 reviews)
    - History, nature and coffee--WONDERFUL!
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Finca Ceriana Nature Reserve image
We had a lovely day with Luigi, the owner with his wife of Finca Ceriana. I made the mistake of thinking Ceriana was closer to Boquete than Volcan so we had to drive quite a way from Boquete. Our tour was just for myself and my husband. We had a very "civilized" hike in the forest on beautifully maintained trails with a nice bathroom in the forest and a platform where we stopped for coffee. Lunch on the lawn was simple and delicious. Luigi's knowledge of the history was fascinating. He and his wife are making every effort to preserve the forest in every way possible. We found it interesting that they do not feed the birds or animals. They also do not allow guides to call birds to their groups since this is confusing to the mating process. Make a reservation far in advance since they only take one group a day. Well worth it. Wish we had booked the coffee tour as well. See more..
  8. 5.0 Reel Inn In Panama (52 reviews)
    - Great Trips
    Saturday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Reel Inn In Panama image
We spent a great day with Captain Chuy and Papucho aboard the Dolphin Dancer. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine and few waves. We went out to Montuosa Bank and caught three tuna. One Mahi Mahi jumped off the hook right at the boat railing. That was a real fight. Captain Murph likes to use PayPal. This was less convenient for us because the US dollar price was converted to Euros. For the small disadvantage, Captain Murph offered us another tour of the islands the next day. I added another $50 and we drove 3 hours to Bolanos and Gomez. Again with Chuy and his boys. That was another fantastic trip. Thanks to the great team at Reel Inn. See more..

His wife Lize from the neteherlands is a top guide who knows a lot about the local indigenous villages in the hills. You learn a lot about their way of life with nature. See more..
  11. 5.0 Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge (39 reviews)
    - Epic fishing and memories of a lifetime
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge image
I can honestly say this was my best day of fishing me and the wife have ever had. For those that check out this company and think that it’s to much money, well you get what you pay for and Shane does not disappoint. We got on the fish at about 8:45 and the bite never stopped. The quality and size of fish was off the chart. Had several that broke the line. The quality of the boats, reels, rods and tackle are the best I’ve ever had on a charter and Captain Juan and mate Mike were awesome. If you don’t speak Spanish, like us, that was no problem as they both spoke English fluently. We are planning on booking their charter where you stay on their private lodges on their own island in the future. Highly recommend these guys! They are legit! See more..
  12. 5.0 Surfer Paradise Private Island (36 reviews)
    - Cannot wait to Return!
    Surfing & Windsurfing
    Surfer Paradise Private Island image
This was the best trip I have ever taken in my life! Absolutely nothing beats waking up here off the grid every morning to surf. The food is incredible and the island and surrounding area offer plenty of other activities besides surfing like hiking and kayaking. Barbas, Lila, Valery, the boat drivers, Janette, and Steve took such good care of us! There was a large group visiting while we were there and our skill levels were all over the place. I loved how accommodating the camp was making sure everyone got the waves they needed. We had such a good time we are already planning our next trip back! I highly recommend visiting because there is not another place like this out there! See more..

  14. 5.0 Pana Tour Guide (24 reviews)
    - As good as humanly possible
Sightseeing Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Pana Tour Guide image
Me and my friends are 22 years old. We found Moti on the internet and decided to try to see what he has to offer. We arrived at David and we were not that optimistic about the city, but then Moti picked us up. When we first spoke to the guy he wouldn't tell us whats in the trip, and we didn't understand why, but just as we started everything became clear. The trips Moti has to offer are impossible to explain in words. As simple as that. Moti knows every single inch in panama, he shows you things you wouldn't dream of seeing and doing things you wouldnt dream of doing. His trips are good for all ages, gender, sizes, and even trips for disabled people. We did the trip with the horse riding,it is really recomended. TL:DR If you are in Panama, contact Moti. An absolut must. See more..
  15. 5.0 Tamandua (23 reviews)
    - Finally, affordable coffee for tourists!
Multi-day Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Tamandua image
Just recently Tamandua opened up their café in Guadalupe, Cerró Punta in Chiriqui. We went there after a rainforest hike and immediately felt welcomed and cared for. The café staff prepared an exquisite cup of coffee (café del día) and a ham and cheese panini made with artisanal local bread. My wife and I had three cups of coffee, the panini and total damage was $5 US. I love that they are not exploiting tourists in charging exorbitant prices. We much prefer coming to them for our coffee and snack rather than a “Fonda” and their prices make that possible. We are local and love to take our two dogs for long hikes beyond the Guadalupe hills ana it’s nice to know we now have a quaint local establishment we can frequent and watch grow. Congratulations Tamandua Nature & Photo on your new Guadalupe café! See more..

Our time at Panama Nautical club was a once in a lifetime experience! The location on the peninsula on Boca Brava Island is world class. We enjoyed every sunrise and sunset from the balcony of the restaurant during the spectacular meals that Panama Nautical club had to offer. The best part of our whole trip was the insane Tuna fishing. Carlos could not have been a better captain and he certainly put us on the fish. We can not wait to return to Panama Nautical Club! Hiking Trails
    Pipeline Trail image
We arrived in the morning at the trailhead. It was a little confusing to figure out the way, but the local hostess was friendly and helpful. Once we got onto the trail, it was certainly a jungle / cloud forest experience. We saw and heard several bands of howler monkeys, and encountered the 1300 year old tree. But our hopes were fulfilled when we saw the famed Quetzals--a remarkable bird. We were fortunate enough to see 4 (and hear two others). It was a lifetime experience for me to see them flying in the sunlight and reflecting brilliantly. The waterfall at the end of the trail is also quite remarkable. See more..
