I took a 2 tank dive to Isla Iguana in February 2015. We saw a lot: Sea Turtle, reef shark, many eels, and lots of beautiful fishes. the highlight of the trip was honestly our diving instructor Kerri: she has been fantastic. my gf took a discover scuba diving course and Kerri was so nice, so patient and you could tell she loves teaching and sharing her passion of diving with others. We all felt very safe with her, from the first email exchanges where she explained all the logistics, til we left the boat at the end of the trip. would definitely recommend her for both fun dives or Padi courses. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our guided fishing trip with Playa Venao Fishing! Carlos is a fantastic guide. He’s energetic and determined to make it a successful fishing trip for all. We caught several tuna and an Amberjack. Carlos filleted the gosh for us and suggested we take it to a local restaurant for personalized preparation. His suggestion was spot on. Thanks a lot Azuero Adventures for the great horse riding trip! We did the tour with our family (5 people in-between 26 -64 years old) of which three people who had never been sitting on a horse before and everyone had a great time. Our ride went over the beach and up the hills near the coast where we enjoyed an astonishing view over the peninsula. Starting the trip in the afternoon was perfect to see the beautiful sunset in Cambutal bay on the way back over the beach. Our guide Brian is very educated and told us a lot about the history, flora and fauna of the peninsula during the trip. We will definitely be doing a tour again with Azuero Adventures. See more..

I spent 2 weeks at Buena Vida Language School and loved my experience so much that I continued my Spanish lessons via Skype when I returned home. The school is small with individual attention and located in an authentic setting. I have been to other Spanish language schools in Central America and Buena Vida is by far the absolute best. Pedasi is a safe, quaint town with a charm of its own and the people are very friendly. In addition, I was provided opportunities for volunteering, so that I could utilize my Spanish. I highly recommend Buena Vida Language School, because the teachers are challenging, volunteer opportunities are available and the setting is delightful with numerous outdoor tropical activities. The Surf Dojo is a must for anyone visiting Venao and for those especially interested in starting to surf or improving their existing skills. The staff was really exceptional, couldn't say anything greater about how warm and welcoming everyone was. The surf instruction was fantastic. I was a true beginner, they made the whole experience super easy, helped me make real progress over the week, and even more importantly had a great time doing it! This was a double beautiful experience! We had the opportunity to release turtles at night and in the morning ! Scott, his family and the crew make a great job educating the community and taking care of these resilient creatures. We definitely recommend you try this in your next visit to Playa Venao and help as you can to keep this kind of movements working on behalf of not just the turtles but all of us that are part of nature. It is beautiful to be able to observe how these mini turtles make their way to the ocean, so strong and determined yet so small, for me it was challenging to let them do it by themselves, because first thing you wanna do, it’s taking them to the sea so the don’t have to do that hard work, but it’s exactly that what will make them stronger to be at the ocean. This is a must-do activity for everyone visiting the Venao/Canas area. You’re in the jungle with monkeys and great views all the way to the ocean as you break through the canopy. This time I bought cute mola -patterned wallets as gifts, and for myself ceramics from Chiriqui. A good selection of hammocks, woven hats and authentic molas, and an easy place to park your bike, car, or walk in. seems to be open 7 days a week & It's accessible when Casco Viejo in Panamá City may be hard to get to, with all the street construction.
