   Absolutely beautiful and well preserved/ clean. I attempted a midnight - sunrise hike to the summit with a local guide but only made it to check point 3 as I was very exhausted - partly due to lack of sleep and because I had a cold. Unfortunately you can't see the sunset from checkpoint but it was still beautiful and I have no regrets. Although it was January I got to see the moon and there were some stars. I also saw my first ever shooting star! Be warned, although Weqas is the fastest route it is challenging as most of the route is at a steep incline. Take your time and plan for lots of breaks. I am quite fit but I suppose I'm not experienced with challenging hikes at a speed. I hope to come back better prepared one day!! Enjoy. NOTE: ensure you have registered 24-48 hours in advance.    Took a boat tour with Coconut Grove and had a fabulous day. The island is beautiful, you can find a part that’s just got you and no one else. Water as clear as can be. Only cost 200000rph and worth every penny. Great snorkelling and nice lunch on the beach. This tour is a must if you visit Karimunjawa, staff funny and take you to some cool spots to find Nemo!    Wow we really enjoyed this place. The Cave is absolutely breathtaking. We went on a Friday AM and it was relatively quite. We didn't need to book. Cost is low at 70,000Rp per person. This includes all safety gear, helmet, life jacket etc. Price also includes free noodles and tea after the tubing. The tour actually goes through two caves, the first one the biggest around 700mt, with a few rapids, the second one is smaller with another rapid to go down, overall the experience is amazing lasting nearly 1 hour. You can take pictures all the way along just make sure you buy protective cover from the locals at 20,000Rp. The guides are very friendly and helpful and are very happy to take pictures for you on your phone. (No extra charge). The Climb back up is steep but not too far. Overall it is a MUST for families with kids, our girls absolutely loved it, they are 12 and 14. We all said we would do it again. See more..

    I did mount sumbing climbing with my individual tour guide, Mr. Abdul, accompanied by my two porters. We started our journey from basecamp in Mangli , which is situated high 1400++ MASL. 15minute ride on motorcycle transfer on bumpy narrow path to the beginning point , among pine trees, we started hiking thourgh pos 2 within 1 hour walk , then stopped for lunch , with hot coffee. After pos 2, its path to pos3 , sunrise campsite , is more steep , upto more than 2000 MASL . Arriving before sunset, we stayed overnight there in tent with freezy cold temperatureof 11degree celcius at midnight. At3am, it’s time to do our mission to reach sejarti summit to indulge ourselves with view of the sunrise with backdrop of mt. Sumbing crater. It took another 3hours with much steeply high path upto the summit . It’s less crowded there at the summit . There were 4 indonesians ahead of our group at the top , we enjoyed 360 degree view of sunrise above sea of clouds and Mt. Son doro from farsight. Onnthe way down to the basecamp , we passed crowds of hikers on the up direction onnSaturday. That completed my wonderful 2D1N trip on Mt Sumbing. See more..

    It took 5 hours to walk from Ciboleger bus stop to Inner Baduy- It's a home for Baduy tribe that refused electricity and technology. The culture is so strong that they rejected government's offer on funding or development project, such as building proper toilets for them. The reason is so simple: Letting the government doing once means giving them permission to do other projects that may destroy the natural ecosystem.     Visited LULU Supermarket ini QBig area yesterday. I was so happy with several discounts they offered: grapes with IDR 20.400, fresh milk 2litres: IDR 28.000. Reasonable price for bedsheets & lots of discounts for electronics & households equipment. This new Supermarket located within the same location with furniture shops.
