- 5.0 Mt. Gemi (12 reviews)
-A trip to Amedzofe
Spent 1-2 hours Mountains
It was an exciting experience coupled with cold weather and fresh breath. The trip was so interesting, the people are lovely and hospitable. We visited the ote falls, the nature trail and the canopy Walkway. When you planning to visit, don't forget to visit Amedzofe. See more..
- 5.0 Tagbo Falls (8 reviews)
-Amazing experience
Waterfalls
After descending the highest mountain in west Africa, we made our way towards the Tagbo waterfall, where we had to hike for about 40 minutes to the waterfall. The hike was fun and adventurous as we got to see so many species of butterfly and plants, we even plucked a pawpaw on our way, we saw a very little but beautiful cave. The forest is so serene and beautiful, and at the waterfall OMG it was so cold there and the water could freeze you, the caves surrounding the water are so beautiful with greenish plants all over them. In short I loved this trip and you will love it too. You can contact Mike the tour guide on +233554621459 See more..

Points of Interest & Landmarks
We really enjoyed seeing how this cloth was made. Our weaver guide was very helpful in explaining how the loons worked and answering all our questions. We appreciated being able to purchase items made from this cloth without high pressure sales. See more..

- 4.5 Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary And Cultural Village (66 reviews)
-Meet the wonderful monkeys
Nature & Wildlife Areas
This unknown (to me) place was a nice surprise and a pleasant visit to a sanctuary of nature. I felt excited walking into the jungle and contacting very nice monkeys, ready to familiarize with human beings, provided you supply them some bananas. A young guide is taking you along the path; you can choose a short visit or a long visit depending on your plans. Also with a short visit you can enjoy the wonders of nature. See more..

-Doodgie is the man!
Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Mountains
We started our Afadjato hike at 3pm which although a bit late was perfect in terms of the temperate. It's a lovely climb, tough in parts but definitely worth it for the views. Great communication when arranging the trip, Doodgie is a really friendly, enthusiastic guide who knows the local history. He was conscious of making sure I was safe and guided me well, lending a helping hand for me many times. His contact details are: +233 55 558 2478 so get in touch with him. Such a fun day out for me and my friends...definitely one of the highlights from my trip to Ghana. Please note, it takes about 5 - 6 hrs to get there from Accra so you may want to consider staying overnight before or after your hike. See more..
- 4.5 Forts and Castles, Volta, Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions (12 reviews)
-I felt a "Welcome Home" from my ancestors.
Historic Sites
My journey to Elmina as well as Cape Coast Castles in Ghana was, as most African American/Caribbean visitors say "a spiritual awakening" My heart was at first saddened to hear of the atrocities that my people endured on their journey to these "Forts", until their final journey through "The Door of No Return". By the end of the tour, my heart rejoiced, for in spite of the fact that it took some 500 years and many generations, I did return to that same door. I know that made my ancestors happy in knowing that they are and never will be forgotten. The Tour Guide was excellent in presenting the historical facts of the Slave Trade, which took approximately one hour and a half. I would recommend you wear comfortable shoes, sneakers or sandals. A camera/camcorder is a must. Do not forget to bring your bottled water as well. ELMINA AND CAPE COAST CASTLES ARE A MUST SEE. See more..

- 4.0 Fort Prinzenstein (9 reviews)
-Horrible History, Well Told
Historic Sites
We were on a birding tour in Ghana, but the tour company, Easy Track, included cultural and historic sites as well. They had a arranged for a local guide to be with us and show us around the fort. Fort Prinzenstein was a Danish fort that became a holding station for slaves that were being shipped to the Caribbean. Our guide, James, explained the horrible history of what went on in the fort. It was sad and distressing but nonetheless important to know. Our tour lasted about 1 hour. See more..
- 4.0 Canopy Walkway Ote Waterfalls (1 review)
-Ote Waterfalls et Canopy Walkway , Cadre Fascinant!!
Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
See more..

- 4.0 Keta Lagoon (1 review)
-Keta Lagoon , Écosystème Remarquable avec Activités
Spent 2-3 hours Bodies of Water
See more..
- 4.0 White Sandy Beaches (1 review)
See more..

-Ugly lighthouse
Spent < 1 hour Lighthouses
The original lighthouse was replaced by a light on top of a metal frame just over 100 years ago. The local guide got permission for us to climb up the steep metal ladder to the top and into the cabin where the light (solar powered) and lenses are. Great view along the coast. See more..
