fairafric's farm to factory tour image
Our students had a tour of the factory and they loved it! With a full presentation about the cocoa and chocolate industry and a guided tour of the factory, their entire staff were very welcoming and interactive. The tour was very educational and the students had all their questions answered. We also received a discount on their entire line of chocolates, which we greatly appreciated. No hype, but everyone we gifted the chocolates to loved them and constantly enquiring as to where they could purchase some. Highly recommended!! See more..

Highly recommend this tour and tour operator. I booked last minute but was still accommodated. Eric worked around the time I had available. I had an amazing time at the gardens, the cocoa Plantation and suprise stop at an authentic fufu restaurant!! If you book with them the itinerary is just a suggestion the operator is very flexible and more interested in ensuring his guest have an amazing experience in Ghana. See more..

  8. 5.0 Pont Adomi À Atimpoku (1 review)
    - Pont Adomi à Atimpoku sur la Volta , Elégant !!
    Spent 1-2 hours Bridges

Ghana Bike and Hike Tours - Day Tours image
I had a very short business trip to Ghana but with Kofis help managed to fit in a full days riding through some great scenery and tracks. We covered 70km and perhaps saw 5 cars, great riding conditions and the experienced guide new where we were heading at all times. Take loads of fluids and energy food cos its quite hilly although none of the climbs were severe or very long. The bikes were pretty good, no mechanical problems and pretty well prepared. Kofi arranged to pick me up from hotel in Accra and dropped me off later for a modest charge. A really sound and trustworthy company, he did everything he said and communicated well. Don't bother with this if you are expecting super modern bikes or VIP treatment - its good fun and a taste of Africa. See more..

Worth the visit regardless of race, color or creed. Being charges extra because you are a foreigner is no reason to claim racial discrimination. There are other countries (1st world) who promote local tourism same way by charging foreigners and making access free for locals. See more..
  17. 4.0 Atewa Range (4 reviews)
    - So many different types of butterflies!
Nature & Wildlife Areas • Forests
    Atewa Range image
This is a lovely forest with a number of walking trails. Although we were birding the most striking thing was the number of butterflies. I must have seen 80 or 90 different types flying on the forest trails - all sorts of colours and sizes. Also a great diversity of birdlife. Well worth a visit - but very obviously under threat with the sound of chain saws from illegal logging present all day. There is bauxite mining right tup to the edge of the forest and the government has sold the mining rights to the reserve. So visit while you still have the chance! See more..

  20. 4.0 Le Lac Volta (1 review)
    - Le Lac Volta , à voir dans un Cadre Verdoyant et Exotique ....Mais !!
Spent More than 3 hours Bodies of Water

  29. Butuase Waterfall (0 review)
    Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Waterfalls
Butuase Falls, a 60-foot cascade on the outskirts of Kwahu Tafo in the Kwahu East District, is a popular tourist attraction. It cascades down into a succession of splashing lakes during the wet season. Within the vicinity of the waterfall, locals enjoy playing or relaxing on a calm afternoon, or loudly celebrating a national festival with fantastic music and picnics. In a natural cavern, the water runs down in a unique way. The waterfall has a lovely flow that also produces a tiny stream via the roots of the site’s big trees. In the event of an emergency, many of those who have gathered for entertainment will be drenched by the torrential rain. The natural environment at this tour site is breathtaking, making it an excellent choice for groups, couples, families, campers etc. See more..
