- 5.0 The Green Ranch (149 reviews)
-best horse riding in Ghana!
Sunday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Horseback Riding Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
I loved my time at The Green Ranch! I spent a weekend there during my summer long stay working in Cape Coast. Elodie and Kojo are terrific hosts. They were so accommodating to me and made sure I arrived and left the ranch safely and easily. The trail ride (especially around the whole lake) was absolutely beautiful, off the beaten track, and gave a nice glimpse into the village life around Lake Bosumtwi. The horses were also sure-footed, very sweet, and well taken care of. I had such a lovely and relaxing time here that it is a place I would go to over and over again. The food was also amazing!! I can't say enough great things about the ranch, Elodie & Kojo plus their staff, and horses. It is really the best riding you can get in Ghana and perfect for horse and riding enthusiasts. See more..

We used this tour company for two tours. One in Accra for a 1 day city tour for 20 people and the second tour for a 2 day tour in Kumasi. Both tours were wonderful and the group enjoyed them. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and treated us like family. He worked with us to determine the best itinerary for our group and delivered an exceptional tour for the money paid. I would highly recommend this tour company for your touring needs in Ghana. I will use them again the next time I require a tour in Ghana. See more..

-Awesome Experience
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM City Tours • Multi-day Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours • Walking Tours • Sightseeing Tours
This was my first solo adventure and I was a bit nervous; however, once I met Ben in Ghana my mind was at ease. During the planning phase, Ben would check in and make sure I had everything I needed for my trip. I spent 5 days with him between Accra and Kumasi. Ben is an awesome guide! He is knowledgeable and passionate about his work and his country. From Day 1 drumming lessons in Accra, the Traditional Naming Ceremony in Kumasi and to the very last day with cruise on the Volta Lake, I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and tour of Ghana. I had so many Aha moments! If you are looking for a guide and interested in learning more about the culture don’t hesitate to contact Ben. Ben was highly recommended to me and I am recommending him to you! See more..

-Higly recommendable guide: Mclean
Private Tours • Day Trips
We booked a citytour for one day, and luckily we got the service of Mclean. Due to Macleans good communicationskills we booked for a second day for a Voodoo experience. Mclean took us early in the morning to visit the fetish priest shrine, and we were taught of the medicinal purpose of every herb by the fetish. After the Voodoo Tour we asked Mclean to do a nightlife tour for us in kumasi. he picked us up and we had a great night with him, visiting tree different paces. He did the tour for a very Little amount, Mclean himself did the evening for free, which we really appriated. Mclean was every time on time, we never waited for him. Inger og Kurt See more..

-Great experience!
Multi-day Tours • Private Tours • Day Trips
Godfrey and his team were simply amazing! I need to call out Josephine especially for being a wonderful tour guide and being flexible to the requirements I had to visit certain places for my research. Godfrey was extremely communicative through the early stages of customizing the itinerary up until I met up with Josephine in Kumasi. Josephine and her colleague were easy to talk to and made the trip even more memorable. It was a full day of one experience after another and we made it back to the airport in time for me to catch my flight back to Accra. I highly recommend booking with these professionals. I know I certainly will be back with my family next year! See more..

- 5.0 Here Is Kumasi Tours (1 review)
-Kumasi Tour
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:30 PM Multi-day Tours • Private Tours • Day Trips
This was a great tour of Kumasi and Maclean did a good job. We toured on a Sunday which resulted in some museums having delayed opening times (Ghana time) but the order of visits was adjusted to accommodate these changes. Overall, the Prempeh museum was informative and the Okomfo Anokye sword site was interesting. The Manhyia museum was worthwhile and the Kejetia market was amazing. The tour may benefit from a scheduled lunch at a great local restaurant. See more..

- 4.5 Adanmowase Ecotourism - Kente Cloths (24 reviews)
-Perfect way to learn about Kente!
Eco Tours
During my visit to Kumasi a wanted to learn Kente. Seen a small production in Bonwire and although the brief visit to the production was quite interesting as a 1st impression and the friendly people, the pressure to drag us to the stores was quite uncomfortable. The visit to Adanmowase was perfect. Cosmos has shown us the whole process, we have seen the production of many different patterns and had the chance to try it ourselves. As a bonus we could see, learn about Cocoa and even have a taste of it. All in a very friendly and fun style and no pressure so sell you anything. I wish I would experience more of this style of tourism. I can highly recommend this visit to anyone interested in Kente. See more..
- 4.5 Ntonso Adinkra Craftsmen (10 reviews)
-Nature Is Beautiful And Authentic!!!
Speciality & Gift Shops
I always visit this town Ntonso with my visitors whenever am in Kumasi. The reason is this, so that they can have a first hand experience with what nature produces which has no equals when it comes to dye. There is this home in Ntonso which is ready to welcome visitors to take part in dye making. What are the ingredients: tree bark and water. The tree bark is pounded to powder and then mix with water, boiled for several hours, strain and boil again until it become sticky black. This is use as a permanent dye and with the 'Adinkra' symbol carved on a piece of calabash, a cloth is beautifully decorated to be worn for funeral or other occasion.Once the symbol is stamped on the cloth, it cannot be removed . It become a printed cloth with adinkra symbols. See more..

The park was nice and had a children's play area. really beautiful to walk around and several wedding parties were having their photos taken. recommend staying for the fountain display, I think that started at about 6. Main thing to note - you must bring your own food and drink. There is no cafe anymore. The entrance is a bit hidden. There is someone selling tickets from a hut through the fence by the main turnstiles. See more..
- 4.0 Bobiri Forest Reserve (15 reviews)
-Butterflies and birds
Nature & Wildlife Areas
The road to the Reserve is in an awful condition. If you don't drive a 4x4, you'll get into trouble for sure. But all along the road, there are hundreds and hundreds of butterflies. Birds can be a challenge to spot in the high dense forest, but I managed to see several rare and endangered species : from the African Piculet to the African Gray Parrot (this is one of their last strongholds in Ghana). If you have a day, or even half a day, walk around the park, you won't be disappointed. See more..

The cocoa plant is a beautiful place where you will learn how the beans were harvested and processed before exportation. Our guide was nice, however explanations weren’t much detailed for the 50GHS entrance. If you wonder how to contact the farm in advance like we did, a picture of the entrance wall is enclosed!
